I bought the candy apple red version of the Blacktop HH guitar locally from a music shop and paid the same price that Amazon offers it for. The guitar was ready to play right out of the box, no set-up required. The pickups sound fantastic. I already own a Fender American Stratocaster with Alnico V Vintage single coil pickups, but the Blacktop Special has become my favorite of the two. I love the tones the come out of this guitar and the action is as good as the American Strat. Great buy for half the price of an American made Fender and pretty much the same quality.
