4Beautiful shirt, great price
By MJD24
My daughter was in her first horseshow this weekend and this is the shirt she chose. She got it in the sleeveless Wild Orchid color and it was stunning on her, a very vibrant color that made her stand out. The cut was clean and well made albeit on the very small side. I ordered a 12 and it barely fit my tall 8y/o. I didn't have time to exchange it so we just worked with it. So if you order I highly suggest order a size or 2 up (I like to get things a bit big for room to grow) . Other then the sizing issue it is a beautiful product at a great price!

5Great shirts from this company
By S. Mills
Jaipur Polo Company makes great shirts. They last and they look great. At least on women, don't know about men. I have tried several other polo shirts, but always come back to this company. Also, they aren't that expensive. Win!

5Beautiful screen, prompt delivery!
By Jake Reed
I let a friend borrow my laptop and it was returned with an obliterated screen. I start college in less than a week and didn't expect to have it repaired in time. Ordered saturday, delivered the following Tuesday, and replaced in less than ten minutes. Beautiful screen, original brightness, but it does have one dead pixel (which is 1,000 times better than a red, cracked screen). I will definitely do business with this seller again! Also, be sure to tape the video ribbon cable to the back of the lcd replacement as it may slip out when closing the laptop.

It also tilts up to 90°, a real benefit when composing shots at low angles for dramatic or practical purposes. The LCD is 2x brighter and has 3x more contrast than competing models. Its high magnification and built-in diopter adjustment offer easy viewing with and without eyeglasses. You can also adjust the brightness and color temperature of the view finder using the E-P2's EVF ADJUST menu function. Brightness can be modified + or - seven steps. The VF-2 refreshes quickly to minimize image ghosting on fast-moving subjects. Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) technology enables high-speed transfer of high-resolution images. 5Olympus VF2, an essential accessory
By James E. Maynard
I purchased this view finder for my new Olympus EPL1, which I had exchanged for my Panasonic GF1 with its accessory external view funder precisely because the Panasonic view finder produced such poor quality images. This is not the place to compare these two cameras. My swap should give you a clue about this. Anyway, you do get what you pay for. The VF2 viewfinder cost about $100 more than the Panasonic equivalent, but is well worth the difference in price. I am an older photographic enthusiast very much used to digital SLR's, which give me steady images when I hold the camera against my eye. I have more trouble achieving real steadiness when shooting with the camera held out in front of me. In bright light this is not a problem. But in low light, lower camera speeds make shake more of a problem, which the anti-shake technology on the Panasonic and Olympus do not really overcome. So this is the first advantage of the VF2. It provides for a steadier camera position. The second advantage is image quality. In outdoor bright light, the LCD images produced by both Panasonic and Olympus are hard to see. The VF2 on the Olympus solves this problem no matter what the light and gives one an excellent image that is useful for composing the scene. The Olympus EPL1 is definitely much more than a simple point and shoot camera. If you are going to get the most out of this product, purchase of the VF2 is a must in my opinion and the combined price of the two items should be taken into consideration when making a decision to move to this new style of camera.

5A Must-Buy for the E-PL1
By C. Rhoades
I use this viewfinder on my Olympus E-PL1 Olympus PEN E-PL1 12.3MP Live MOS Micro Four Thirds Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera with 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens (Black) mostly when in bright sunlight situations. It can be used in low light also, but the rear LCD usually suffices then. If there were a method of permanently attaching the VF-2 to the camera, I would have to give that serious consideration. It attaches firmly in the camera's hot shoe, but there's nothing besides friction holding it on. I keep close watch on it so I don't lose it, but I've had no problems. The VF-2 is simply excellent, with great color and very high resolution.

5Very nice, clear and bright high-resolution display
By Dathon
I bought this for my E-PL1 camera. Display is very bright, clear and high resolution(800x600). Refresh rate is very fast and there is no annoying flicker in good to bright light. Images look really smooth compared to Panasonic GF-1 low-resolution viewfinder. This is because of the tighter dot-pitch and higher resolution of the VF-2. You won't notice any individual pixels, although the camera menu will look a little blocky but still nice. The camera also can adjust the brightness and color temperature of the VF-2. There is a button to switch easily from viewfinder to LCD. The ability to tilt the VF-2 is an added bonus. It fits snug on the camera, and shouldn't fall off with normal use. I'm planning to leave it attached unless I need to use the hotshoe for something else. That is one of the negatives, it covers up the hot shoe. Another negative, is that in low light it can have an annoying flicker and get grainy, just like the E-PL1 LCD display. What you see on LCD is how it will also look on VF-2. But I can work around this annoyance, and it only shows itself in very low light. All in all, this is an excellent add-on to the E-P2 and E-PL1 cameras, and in bright sunlight, helps a lot in composing photos. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for compared to the GF-1 viewfinder.

5Worth every penny!
By Kris
I just built myself a new mid-line gaming pc for around $1000, and was looking for a good (and cheap) monitor for a dual monitor set up. My requirements were that it needed to have speakers (until I get myself a set), HDMI, 1080p, quick response time, and vivid colors. I ended up settling on this monitor after a couple weeks of researching. This monitor didn't have many reviews here, and it seemed like it was a risky move going for it, reading the lower of the two reviews.I decided to give it a chance anyway, and buy one to see how it was. I ended up accidentally (or my subconscious purposely bought them? Not quite sure...) buying TWO of these monitors, with one day shipping, on a Saturday night. They got to me Monday just as I got out of class (around 2p) and I set them up as soon as I got into my apartment. They worked flawlessly. Driver downloads were easy, the disk came with some drivers but you need to go to the site to get the latest ones. The color is fantastic, though they come quite bright out of the box and I had to lower the brightness to 52% (comes at 100% out of the box). The colors are vivid, and the response time is great. I've played Starcraft 2 online, HON, CS:S, CivV, and they all look MUCH better than they did before, with my older monitor. Also, I hooked my PS3 up to the second monitor of my dual setup, part of why I wanted both monitors to have HDMI. The graphics are great! Console gaming on a small screen like this is fine, at least while sitting at my desk. It looks way better than my 720p 32" Vizio (understandably). All in all, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I have several pc gamer friends with many different monitors that I've seen and compared to my new Viewsonics. It seems like mine blows all the other comparably-priced monitors out of the water (Samsungs, Hanns-G's, Acers, etc. It's even on par with my friend's $300 Samsung.Great purchase, worth every penny!

5Great picture
By C. Jameson
The monitor is impressive - excellent contrast, rich color, well-defined pixels. My only complaint was that the initial settings out-of-the-box were atrocious; when I first powered up the monitor, I thought I had made a huge mistake in choosing this model. It was far too bright resulting in a washed-out picture. After a few adjustments, all was well.I wasn't too pleased with the condition of the box it arrived in - it literally fell apart at the seams the moment I pulled on the cardboard tab to open the top flap. However, the monitor seemed undamaged, not even the styrofoam packing was blemished. Amazon needs to pressure their partners more to package things better for shipping.

4Good Picture, OK Audio for Price
By B. McLoughlin
I was looking for a good monitor to split between my various AV components (PS3, DVR, etc.) and my computer's input. This product does all of that, and very well. The image is very crisp and clean, though I have noticed some image tearing from time to time (which I haven't ruled out as being the monitor specifically, just hadn't seen it on my old LCD). It also has a bit of lighting haze at the top and bottom of the screen, though not enough to seriously detract from the fact the color and image are top-notch.The audio...well, consider buying a separate set of speakers for this one. For having them built into the frame, it does an adequate job. Just don't expect to be listening to music or movies and feeling awestruck. The monitor does make up for that though, by allowing a 3.5mm jack for audio-in (from my PC in this case), HDMI audio-in (my PS3), and 3.5mm audio-out (a set of Logitech speakers). It switches between each audio feed as you change sources, and makes for a very clean setup. In summary, I'm very pleased with this monitor for the price I bought it ($160 at the time of writing this). The only thing keeping it from a five is the screen tearing (which is subjective, I haven't seen it in weeks) and if it had another HDMI port.

5You get what you pay for
By John E. Hollowy
What some reviewers consider problems, I see as assets. First, what could be more convenient than USB charging? I wish everybody went to USB. I have so many damn chargers sitting around already. My light is sitting on my laptop charging right now so it will be ready to go for another week or more when I head home tonight. Second, removing the light is not particularly easy, but I don't think that's an issue either. Just follow the directions and it becomes clear how to do it. Once you know how, it pops right out. Third, one reviewer said the light seems cheap and plastic. Really? It's case is cast metal, and it certainly seems up to Light & Motion's general high standards. That's one reason I was willing to spend the money on this light. I have had other LIght & Motion products for many years and their customer service has been exemplary. My one criticism is the rubber band mounting method. I realize that it uses rubber similar to my iPhone cover and is therefore very tough, but it can be removed in an instant. I would prefer a more secure mount, such as one that requires tools to install and remove. I could then probably leave the light on my commuter bike all the time, except for charging, because the causal thief wouldn't know how to get it off without tools. I have replaced bolts with tamper-resistant bolts on my commuter bike, and I could probably do the same for this light. As for light output, I was using two Planet Bike Super Flashes, and the Vis 180 simply, without question, blew them away. I tested them side by side, and the Super Flash literally disappeared in the Vis 180's glow. The light output is shockingly bright. No one can claim they didn't see you, unless they were blinded by your light! The Vis 180 should last for a long time, which Light & Motion strives to do since they care about sustainabllity, including not having to use replacement batteries. Over the course of the light's life, it will not generate any solid waste other than the packaging that can go into the paper recycling bin. You also get a power level gauge, which is something you rarely see on cheaper lights. The bottom line is that this is an excellent tail light for people who regularly commute by bike and can therefore justify the cost. It could literally save your life. This is definitely a case of getting what you pay for.

5i like the company, i like this product
By Jon Posner
My "qualifications": been working in bike retail for 15 years, mainly to support my habit, ride bikes a LOT, 7-10K+ miles/year, lots of it commuting.I think this is a great taillight. I usually take some trails and bumpy fire roads as part of my commute. This light has held up for me now on several very bumpy rides and in heavy rain. I give it high marks for durability so far, I've had mine about 2 months.I think the rear light is one of the brightest on the market. I feel like it has tremendous side visibility, and the rear LED is blinding to riders behind you, which is a good thing. I use it always on the pulse mode, the red led pulses rather than blinks. The clip takes a moment to figure out, but then you realize it is ingenious. The light has a clothing clip that also clips into the bracket that mounts to your seatpost. The light can be fixed at several varying angles while clipped into the mount, and it can ONLY BE REMOVED FROM THE SEATPOST MOUNT BY PUSHING THE CLIP ALL THE WAY CLOSED (all the way against the back of the light) which means the light cannot bounce off the mount like so many other lights I've owned. The seatpost mount attaches by way of a thin rubber strap - I have stretched it hard and it is durable. I have had this light mounted on 27.2 posts, 31.8 posts, and around a trek madone aero shaped seatmast, all with no problem.I also like the idea of a long life rechargeable, not shelling alkaline batteries out over and over. USB charging is easy and ubiquitous.Bottom line, I think this is a great light. Light n motion stuff isn't cheap, but it is USA made, backed with a good warranty, and it is among the best stuff in it's class! Last 2 cents worth - buy this at your local bike shop! They are worth supporting!

5Marvelous light! Almost good enough documentation.
By J. Eugene Yount
Right out of the box, the Vis 180 is so bright it literally hurts the eyes. I'm not sure it isn't brighter than a car's taillights. The VIS 180 has several different modes of operation from "Man, that's bright" to "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" I love the side lights and feel they might have prevented me from getting hit by a car recently. Still, based on some reviews I had seen, I was so worried that I wouldn't like the light or that it wasn't worth its high cost. I couldn't be happier and it's worth every penny and then some. The pictograms on the box are good enough to figure out almost every function except how to remove the light from its mount. But it is actually easy to remove: Press the red button on the "Pivot lock" and rotate the light to its fully closed position. Not just closed. FULLY CLOSED. Push the light firmly into the mount (towards the seatpost) and gently pull the light up. I can do it with my recently broken wrist. In fairness, the pictogram shows how to remove the light, but it isn't obvious that pushing the light into its mount actually unlocks the light. Unless the light is unlocked, it stays put. I like that, too! In "light" of my recent accident, I think this is one of the two best bike purchases I have ever made. (Light & Motion Stella 300 being the other.)

3Good, but Amazon Reviewers definitely overrating it
By M. Kim
I ordered 2 of this primarily due to the glowing Amazon reviews. I also have 2 newly purchased BenQ EW2420's, which was convenient for a side by side comparison.First off, what most of the reviewers are saying about this monitor is generally true. The stock stand is pretty awesome for any monitor. It raises, tilts, and rotates. Has pretty good construction quality, and the nicest thing is that it uses standard VESA mounts, unlike most stock stands. This means A. the monitor actually has VESA mounts (which is getting increasingly rare), and B. You could use these stands on any monitor with VESA mounts. As far as the general picture quality of this monitor, it's really good... for a TN LED panel. I point that out because they were head to head with my new Ben Q's, which are VA panels. (my first experience with VA). Backlight uniformity was generally good on the Viewsonics, but just like all TN LCD's, they weren't quite up to snuff in black levels, which translates to better color reproduction. I calibrated both the BenQ and Viewsonic using a Spyder 3. I was a little upset that this monitor didn't have more manual controls, but I was able to calibrate both to the point where the colors looked almost identical. I opened up a bunch of RAW photo files, and even did some work in Photoshop. It's interesting to see how the Viewsonic shows banding in subtle gradients whereas the Ben Q smooths it out noticably better. On a different note, I happened to get these a week after Battlefield 3 released, so I was able to test them out with fast paced gaming. I was pretty horrified to see really pronounced ghosting/ screen tearing on the Viewsonic. Not going to pick on it too much for this since a super fast response time and good gaming performance is not it's deal, but it's worth noting. Not a very good gaming monitor at all.Very odd as well, to have a monitor nowadays with speakers, but no HDMI. Thought that was a little weird.Overall, it's a really good monitor for what it is. I can totally see why it gets so many glowin reviews, but I think it's overpriced. After actually using it person, I can confidently say that it's a 200 dollar monitor with a 70 dollar stand. That's what you're paying for. I'm not really sure this offers all that much more then a solid 180 dollar monitor, like a cheap TN LED Asus.

5Works well with Macs
By R
I needed a new monitor for my MacBook Pro and was definitely not going to drop $1,000 for Apple's 27" display. What a rip.I was surprised to discover how little monitor support there seems to be for Apple products. Tried out a Samsung PX2370 first and was very unhappy with the way text was rendered on the screen. Called Samsung--they said they didn't support Macs. Same with HP support. The Viewsonic seemed to be the only monitor that mentioned Macs in their tech specs. The display is MUCH better at rendering text; basically the same as the Apple Display that I am replacing. I'm very happy with the quality. One small thing that I noticed with this display; it seems to take a little bit longer to wake up from sleep than a Apple display. Not sure what's up with that, but...no big deal. The speakers are lousy, but odds are you're not buying the monitor for the speakers.Make sure you use Apple's built-in Calibrate function in the Displays preferences panel. Makes a big difference.

5beautiful monitor
By K. J. M.
I was worried at first, because after a week, a single pixel became stuck (as a constant red dot), but a careful flick at it with my finger caused it to flicker briefly, and then go out. It returned one more time, so I did the same thing. It hasn't returned since, and that was about a month ago. Everything else about the monitor is as advertised. Beautiful picture. I love using the pivot, which allows me to view large vertical pictures in portrait view.

Boosted a Gigabyte UD3R X58A motherboard from 12 to 24 GB of RAM for use as a HYPER-V 2008 R2 server. To run several VMs, you need a lot of RAM. This RAM matches what I already had and it has been performing well.

5nice monitor
By Devon
Purchased this to replace a 20" Viewsonic LCD that had led a tough life but always delivered.+5 The increased real estate on the desktop (both virtual and actual, since I wall mounted it) is like night and day.-2 It falls juuuust short of 2 web pages or 2 document windows side-by-side and I'm now hooked on the idea. When I bought it, I had chickened out on the 24" because it seemed like it would be too much, but now I wish I had just gone for the 24". I think this one is going to the hubby and I'll be back for the 24" in a couple of weeks.+10 Crystal-clear display+10 Colours are rich and vivid. I don't do graphics, but they sure look nice on the screen.+10 Spreadsheets - you just can't get too many rows and columns on screen at once! Spent seven hours in a big workbook today, and no eyestrain at all. I think I would have liked to use a slightly lower resolution to make things a little bigger than the native 1920x1080, but it looked awful and very blurry. After 2 days with it though, it's working out just fine.+3 The speakers are, as most have noted, pretty tinny. But I don't play music on my computer; I just serve it from there. If purchasing for an non-audiophile, they are perfect. I refuse to put something else on my desk that collects dust so the integrated speakers are a must-have, and they're plenty fine for system sounds. If you already have speakers, there's a version of this monitor that doesn't have them. I think that even if I did use other speakers, it's a nice feature to have around just in case.+7 Matte finish on the frame, and anti-glare on the screen. I nixed many similar monitors because of the piano finish alone. Who thought that putting a high-gloss black finish on an electronic device (my sony blu-ray for example) was a good idea? At least this finish is 'less' of a dust magnet.+5 Excellent bang for the buck. Amazon's price can't be beat.Score: 48 out of 50. I will buy (the same, but bigger!) again (soon).

4Excellent Product
By Nelson_2008
I was looking for three particular features in a monitor: (1) LED backlighting; (2) built-in speakers; and (3) flat black color, NOT glossy. I had just about given up, and then I saw the Viewsonic VG2236wm-LED.This monitor has all the features I was looking for, so I bought it. This is one of the few monitors on the market, perhaps the only one at present, that is NOT glossy black. The design of the monitor is well-thought-out and aesthetically appealing. With the 1080p resolution, the "picture" is extremely clear and crisp; the color and the uniformity are very good; the built-in speakers sound pretty good; and it's easy to adjust (both display settings e.g., brightness, and mechanically, e.g., tilt, rotation of the screen).I should also mention that the monitor comes very well packaged. As it happened, I received the monitor missing one cable, a VGA cable (the other three cables were present). Luckily, it was easy to contact customer service on the phone, and I'm told that a VGA cable is already on the way to me; so it seems that their customer service department is also quite responsive.********************Edit: I'm revising my review as I discovered something I don't like about the monitor. I'm downgrading it from 5 to 4 stars, because the stand has an issue, and the documentation is lacking in that regard as well. The issue involves raising the monitor up a little bit so it can be rotated 90 degrees to go from landscape to portrait mode. There is a little wire key on the right hand side of the "neck" of the stand that has to be pulled out. But on mine I could not do it by hand, I had to use pliers, because the thing is under spring tension upward. The best way to do this is to push the monitor down by hand, to reduce the pressure on the key, and then try to pull the key out.The stand also has a little bit of annoying side-to-side slop when it's in the down (landscape) position.Viewsonic needs to redesign the stand. An excellent monitor should not be paired up with a lousy stand.**************************Edit: My final solution to the stand issue was to buy a 3M Monitor Stand, model MS110MB. It cost me about $50. It's an excellent stand, and although I at first thought the price was a little on the high side, the thing is robust and of high quality, and a perfect match for the monitor. It was a worthwhile investment that can be used with any monitor that has a 75mm or 100mm VESA bolt pattern. As far as the sound goes, there is no "hum", and the speakers sound just like I expected them to sound - not bad - all things considered. The speakers are obviously not intended to deliver ultra high fidelity, @high power, they're there to provide basic sound for people who just want basic sound - without cluttering up the desktop with speakers, more wires, and a power adapter.

5Very nice monitor
By J. Albright
I purchased this monitor because I do not like the X series monitors that Viewsonic is creating otherwise. Unlike those ones this monitor does not have the piano style finish on the bezzel and no annoying blue flashy lights while it is on. It has DVI, but no USB ports, which I had to modify my workspace to go without, although it was completely worth it in the long run. I purchased two of these monitors and both are running nicely in a dual screen operation. The only problem I had was the DVI cables that came with it don't fit on a standard dual dvi EVGA card. Being a computer nerd that was not a problem as I just dipped into my supply of discard parts from previous builds to get more "standard" DVI cables with normal size connectors on them. The only thing I was disatisfied with is that UPS left one on the wrong doorstep and luckily I have honest neighbors and then the second one on my doorstep. However, I do understand that mistake is not amazon's fault, but they did ship these monitors in their original boxes. So if you live somewhere where people would be prone to picking up a LED Monitor box off your doorstep ship it to work or a friend's house. It would be great if Amazon had a way to cover these boxes or put them in other boxes so people cannot see the contents.Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

4Excellent value
By Dick Oliver
I bought twelve of these for my digital arts studio. Overall, I'm very happy with them and even more happy with the excellent sale price I got at Amazon.com.Pros:* Rock-solid, beautifully saturated and bright image quality.* Easy to use controls and driver disk (which you may need for optimum resolution on some computers)* Kinda sexy multi-colored indicator light below the screen changes from blue (on) to amber (sleep) to off.* Sturdy, adjustable stand which attaches easily.* Just the right amount of "matte" finish to avoid the annoying glare and "mirror" effect that some screens have, without any sacrifice of brightness or clarity.Cons:* As with most LCD screens, colors shift somewhat with viewing angle. If you are a graphics design or video editing shop with exacting color calibration requirements, buy a (much) more expensive IPS screen if you can. (I couldn't afford a decent IPS screen, and this inexpensive monitor reproduces color BETTER than many "bargain" IPS screens.)* I find the (permanent) large white lettering on the lower bevel rather annoying, even though you stop noticing it after a while.* The screen is actually TOO bright for most environments even in daylight. I turned the brightness down to zero and it's acceptable, but only because I never use the units at night or in a dimly lit room. You may want to use gamma correction software (such as adobe gamma or the Windows 7 settings) to dim the screen more than the monitor controls alone will achieve.* One out of twelve units I ordered was dead on arrival. (Amazon promptly refunded my money.)* Because the touch controls are on the corner of the screen, the screen wiggles when you use them. Not a big problem (how often do you use them anyway?) but mildly irritating.* Be aware that some older video cards may not support 1920x1080 resolution. That's not a problem with the screen, but be sure you have an appropriate driver before you upgrade to any new screen!Overall, I did a lot of shopping around and this is a terrific deal if you can get it for under $200. I couldn't find anything comparable in quality for that price.

4Thoughts of a Programmer & Web/Print Designer
By Allen
I purchased this monitor because I wanted a 22 inch monitor and I didn't want to spend more than $200.Initial impressions. This thing is light in weight. Very light. I was able to hold the monitor in one hand/arm and use my other hand to set the base and plug in the power and dvi cable without a much strain. The base is made of plastic and feels cheap. That was my first reaction, when I unwrapped the base. Once I had it on the monitor though it did it's job. This combination though makes the monitor easily wobble if it is not sitting on a sturdy desk/table, keep that in mind. (My desk is very sturdy, so this wasn't an issue.) It comes with a VGA/DVI cable, which was a pleasant surprise.I'm a programmer. This monitor arrived at my place of work and as soon as it came, I immediately replaced one of my monitors and worked the whole day with it. It was easy on the eyes and I could see myself using this as my daily programming monitor. It also made my other Dell monitor look old because this monitor has great contract and was bright. Pictures and text looked great on the screen. At the end of the day I did notice that this monitor gives off very little heat, very nice. Had I based my purchasing decision on this experience, it would have been a keeper.I'm delving into web/print design. Here's where I have an issue with the monitor. I'm working on some website and print designs and I need the colors to reproduce accurately on the screen. I know that all LCD monitors change color saturation/contrast when looking at the monitor at an angle, however, I noticed that when I look at this monitor directly, the color was too washed out, where to me, it didn't accurately reproduce the color at the angle that it should produce the color contrast/saturation the best (or really close to it). Normally I wouldn't care for this, but I need the color to look accurate. I played around with the monitor brightness/contrast/color and that didn't fix the problem. I played around with my NVidia desktop color settings and I couldn't fix the problem. Lastly I compared this monitor with another 22 inch LCD and it only confirmed my findings.Conclusion.If you are considering purchasing this monitor for normal use, i.e. web surfing, document editing watching movies, then by all means don't hesitate to purchase it, it's a good monitor for the price. As a programmer/normal user, I would give this monitor 4 stars. As a web/print designer, I would give this monitor 3 stars. Since I have to use it in designer mode, then I could not keep the monitor, so I returned it.

5Crisp and clear - and you don't have to mess with the settings!
By Tate
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1BJIUX770ZV1X First of all the video doesn't even come close to showing the clarity this screen provides, but I hope it's slightly helpful in that you can see the size better in comparison to a desk and stuff. Now about this beautiful monitor. I admit I've only been looking at it for about a week, but so far my eyes couldn't be happier. LED screens are clearly going to be the future. They look beautiful and save energy and space, and the screen is SO thin! Setup was a breeze - I just connected it to my desktop. The monitor comes with both DVI and VGA cables, but since my desktop had an HDMI output I bought a Premium High Resolution 10FT / 3m 24K GOLD HDMI TO DVI M/M CABLE FOR HDTV PLASMA DVD that uses the HDMI from my Desktop into the DVI in the monitor. I doubt I really needed to buy this, compared the cable with just the regular DVI to DVI and it still looked great, though it did seem a dash clearer (it could be my imagination). Also, when shopping around and reading reviews of other monitors (especially LED) I noticed several customers complaining that it took a lot of setting switches to get the screen to look right.. with this monitor (at least for me) the picture looked perfect right from the start up. It does let you change the contrast and such, but I haven't dared to mess with them because I think it looks perfect as is.About the sound.. I watch a lot of movies on my computer and listen to a lot of music, so imagining using a monitor's built in sound system horrifies me, but if you don't care about a high quality stereo system, I listened to the speakers and they'll do just fine.So my overall review is an A+ thumbs up. I spent hours looking at monitors at Best Buy and on Amazon and anywhere else that sells them and I think I made a great choice with this ViewSonic. Granted, I've only had it a handful of days, but hopefully I won't have to revise this review for at least 3 years (that's how long the warranty is). If you have any other questions about the screen or would like to see a different video just leave a comment and I'll try to help you out!**4 Month Update** - Just thought I'd let you guys know it's been nearly 4 months now and my 5 star review still stands so far. Absolutely no dead pixels, and absolutely no problems. Unlike other LEDs I've seen in the store, the stand on this is very sturdy and has never even hinted at falling over. My comp doesn't have a blu ray player, but I watched some 1080p stuff online and it is noticably spectacular on this screen. And now I see Amazon is selling it even cheaper than what I paid for it ($189) so I can't recommend it enough!

4Great for the price
By R. Cornett
If you don't have the cash to spring for higher end shields, this shield will absolutely get the job done. However, there are a couple things that will annoy you about it.1. The hinges are made so the panels will only fold to about a 90 degree angle to each other. So, moving it is a pain, and storage consists of fanning out the shield and placing it next to a long wall (unless one removes the hinges).2. The panels get the job done as far as sound, but they aren't solid enough to stand without bending. The end panels will bend and twist, which not only looks bad, but makes the shield slightly less stable.HOWEVER, as I said, if you're not wanting to spend another $200 to $400 bucks on a shield, go with this one. It'll do the job. B+

5Quality Pot for a reasonable price.
By SAM
I've had this pot for several months now, and have used it to make chowders, Sunday gravy, and boil potatoes. It performs excellently, and expect this will be my go to pot when I next make fresh beef stock, and anytime I need to make food for a crowd. The pot is well constructed, and believe it will give many years of service. The pot conducts heat well, handles stay cool enough to grab after being on the burner for several hours. My other pots are Calphalon (all of my pieces were produced in the USA prior to the sale to Newell Rubbermaid), a Le Creuset, and an old Salad Master stock pot. Over the past year I have been adding All Clad to my cooking arsenal, so I feel I am familiar with quality cookware. I had wanted to purchase an All Clad stock pot, but the 16 quart was only available in their line with a brushed aluminum exterior, and that size was a Williams-Sonoma exclusive, and the cost was over $450. I really wanted a pot with tri-ply construction. I have 2 pieces of Calphalon Tri-ply stainless Steel which are also well constructed, even though produced in China. So I took a chance on this pot, and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

5Expensive, but very high quality

This is quality cookware. Bottom heats evenly and food does not stick. Generous size. Sturdy handles with rivets instead of welds. Heavy and just a pleasure to work with. Recommended.

Nice heavy bottom has really helped to not scorch sauces and stews. High quality. Not too deep. Top is not super heavy but fits well. Handles are VERY heavy duty.
