Product Description
If you are craving the next level in gyroscopic fitness, from a hand held gyro the V-Power gyro is right up your alley. The V-Power Gyro utilizes German precision engineering to create up to 17,000 rpm and 60 pounds of silky-smooth dynamic resistance in the palm of your hand. Not only will you get an awesome workout - thanks to the raw power of the V-Power gyro - but it also looks amazing sitting on your desk or coffee table enclosed in its metal display case. The V-Power features a new compact design which sits comfortably in the palm of your hand and enables greater control over the gyro.
The difference between the Force Two metal gyro and the V-Power gyro lies in the newly developed high-end rotor. This newly developed rotor is comprised of aluminum and stainless steel which lessen the weight of the unit but allows it to spin faster thus creating more resistance.
Describing the V-Power experience is challenging at best, because you have never felt anything like it before. But imagine a sphere the approximate size of a tennis ball that feels as though you are lifting a 60-pound dumbbell when spinning at full speed. This may sound impossible, but it's true. The faster the V-Power Gyro spins, the more resistance is automatically added. This exerciser is perfect for the experienced Powerballer, Mixed Martial Artist or extreme athlete looking for a challenge or a way to get a competitive edge in their sport of choice. DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED IN GERMANY, distributed in the United States by DYNAFLEX. (Note: NOT Compatible with Speedmeter.)

Quality
By S. Elchert
I was confused on the differences between the Dynaflex Iron Power Force 1 - Silver, Metal Powerball and Dynaflex Iron Power Force 2 - Black and the Vpower, so I google translated the german website. The Ironpower Force One has an aluminum rotor and the Force Two has a stainless steel rotor and therefore weighs about twice as much. The Vpower is a more recent design with a rotor made of both aluminum and stainless steel. The website wasn't that detailed but it seems to combine the weight of the Force One with the spinning power of the Force Two? Searching the German Amazon site I found that the Force Two gets higher reviews, although Amazon Germany does not yet seem to sell the Vpower. A lot of people seem to prefer the Dynaflex Xtreme Steel because it has a grip and is compatible with the counter; I haven't tried it so I can't compare it to the Vpower, but the Vpower feels very well-made. (It's made in Germany instead of Taiwan, which is where I think the Dynaflexes are made.) I should also note that this isn't actually made by Dynaflex, which I consider a good thing because I don't know that I trust the stability of the Dynaflex company. The Ironpowers and Vpower are made by a European company called Kernpower or something. Don't know anything about them, but Dynaflex just changed their name to DFX on their new website, I think they used to be called NSD or at least have a company called NSD make some of their products, and their customer service leaves something to be desired. I would buy this Vpower again, although I'm curious to try the Force Two. If you know more about these companies of if I've gotten anything wrong, please let me know. I hope this is helpful.

The red apple workout
By Curtis Mason
Everyone who sees this without knowing what it is thinks I am spinning an apple. This powerball is unlike any I have used before. The most noticeable difference is how quiet it is which has to do with how smooth it spins. There is very minimal hum as it spins and this can be done in many places without drawing attention due to the ruckus. Second it is definitely heavy in comparison to previous models. One reviewer commented that it is also more slippery than previous models which is true partially due to the increased force needed to hold it.I had purchased this for physical therapy use with regular powerballs being sent home for use outside of therapy. This is commercial quality and is made to last. It is similar to buying a commercial treadmill versus a Weider home treadmill. This is made to last. The case for this unit is nice for storage and includes two starter strings and a replacement ring set.You still do not want to drop this unit. The rings inside are still plastic (the only plastic I see in this thing) and due to the weight it will chip the ring inside if dropped.Overall this is an amazing unit and I am satisfied with it.

Powerball on a whole new level
By David Siegel
First, this is not a "Powerball on steroids." Comparing this to a normal Dynaflex Powerball is like comparing a Fiat to a Ferrari. It's not at all a Powerball with a heavier ball inside. The machining is so precise that it exhibits very little of the behavior of a Powerball. You can even get it to spin at top speed in place, without rotating. It starts much more easily than a lighter unit - you can pretty much drag it across a placemat to start it. And it really provides a better workout, so if you're looking to up your game, this is the right place to go.Now for the bad part. The outer shell is beautifully molded aluminum, and it's FAR TOO SLIPPERY to hold onto. Unless you have moist sweaty hands all the time, you will find this ball very difficult to hold, so that you can't get a decent workout with it. Your hands will start to cramp just from trying to keep it under control. Fortunately, there's a solution. Look up "Rescue tape" here on Amazon and order a roll of clear rescue tape. Stretch that around the equator of the ball twice and you're in business. Without the tape, it's just a toy. With the tape, you can start exercising.I'm looking forward to this company producing a ball that's both heavy and easy to hold onto. For now, this ball is the best in the world, but you need to tape it to use it. Harbor Products Inc 2010010CL-T Clr Silicone Repair Tape
