4Great toy, limited on its own
By Daniel Dolan
This is a great toy, but hard to use on its own. Plan on buying supplemental tracks (straight, curves, and intersection) to prevent frustration when your child realizes they can't build much. Otherwise, I strongly recommend DUPLO train sets for 3-6 year olds. The tracks are easy enough to put together, yet there is plenty of room for creativity.

5This is the second locomotive we buy
By Oscar Kramer
My 3-year-old has gotten a full year of enjoyment from the duplo train set. We bought the bridge, two switches (which are very cool but hard to find), and extra track. He loves it and all his visiting friends play exclusively with that.

5Love This Gel!
By mmbear
Make sure you don't have on any makeup when you are using this product along with contact lenses. You can use this twice a day but I had a hard time doing that so I used it at night. I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes while awake so doing it at night was best for me. I am sure it is a slower process doing it only once but I still saw a nice difference. I love that I did not have to have a prescription and that it did not come with the side effect that the one that does require a prescription. In case you haven't used any of these kinds of products, all you do is swipe it along the base of your eyelash just like you do when putting on eyeliner. Just imagine that you are putting on eyeliner. Same thing with the eyebrows, just swipe across like you were using eyebrow liner. This is the benefits of Measurable Difference Eye Gel:1. Eyelash boosting formula.'2. Protects your lashes and is designed to help improve the overall condition and appearance of eyelashes. '3. Especially formulated to deliver essential proteins, vitamins and rejuvenating ingredients that can nourish the structure of lashes, while adding shine and appearance. '4. It is ideal for women and men with brittle, weak, thin or short eyelashes. '5. Helps amplify volume by strengthening and rejuvenating lashes. '6. Helps promote lash flexibility and durability. '7. Adds moisture and shine to lashes and improve elasticity. '8. Can also be used on eyebrow. '9. Great for lash extension users! Help those broken, brittle lashes.

30 degree is an exageration
By brandon
I bought this bag 2 years ago and I have to say its a great bag for only 80 dollars. Although if you are camping anywhere where the temp drops below 35 degrees do not bring this bag you will freeze. I had the bag in 30degree weather and I woke up freezing. That was with a tent, heavy clothing and a good sleeping pad.

4Not for Kayak camping.
By SteveK1953
Own two of their 35 degree sleeping bags and have used them on many a kayak camping trip. Which motivated me to purchase this one, but no specs were given as to it's packed size and upon receiving it discovered it was way to large to pack in a kayak, "more than double the size of my present bags. So returned the bag and will wear extra clothing. The four star rating had nothing to do with quality but of not meeting my needs....

5Worked the first time!
By C. Purdy
I couldn't get an HDMI cable fished to my wall-mounted TV, but I did have an Ethernet port behind the TV, with CAT 5e cabling to a central wiring point (in the basement). My electrician was able to get a CAT 6 cable from the separate source location down to the same central wiring point. I used the Intellinet CAT.6 Modular Inline Coupler Female to Female (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001P8B6P4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00) to join the two, and a short CAT 6 cable to connect from the wall jack to the Gefen device behind the TV, and Voila! It worked without a hitch. I tested with 1080p forced on (no auto-negotiation), and there were no issues with either audio or video. Keep in mind, this is over 3 different cables, which had me very worried! (As a last resort, I could have cut that to two by rewiring the wall plug into a male Ethernet plug, but I'm glad I didn't have to bother!)Obviously this Gefen product is more expensive than many of the alternatives, but Gefen has a good reputation for a reason, and I needed something that would actually work and not waste my time. The only "cons" that I noticed:1) The power supplies are of the "wall wart" variety, and not low enough profile to easily hide behind a flat-screen on the wall. (The "sender" and "receiver" units themselves are wall-mountable and relatively low-profile.) I was able to work around the size of the wall wart (thanks to inspiration from MacGyver), but it is a challenge worth noting. Be prepared to "embed" the power supply into the wall (i.e. cut a hole in your wall, or have an electrician do a custom box for you) if you want a low profile install with no wires visible.2) The two units are called the "sender" and the "receiver". I checked the temperatures of each junction (sender, CAT 6 coupler, receiver, power supplies, etc.) and they were all fine, except for the Gefen "receiver" unit; it was pretty warm, and I expect that it will get hot -- particularly hidden behind a warm TV. This isn't at all surprising, considering what it has to do, and I was expecting it (and other items) to be significantly hotter than they were. All in all, I can definitely recommend this product. It met my high expectations. Great job, Gefen!

5Save yourself the headache, Gefen works
By Eric Skiff
Before I purchased this HDMI extender, I bought a cheaper product. What a headache. It was a 1x4 extender, which seemed like a bargain given that it was cheaper than a single 1-port version available from other manufacturers. The manual was horrible (not that you need it anyway, there's nothing to configure), and the product only worked up to about 30' of Cat 5e cable. When I tried it on the longer run I needed (120'), sometimes it worked and sometimes not. Sometimes it worked on one port and not others. I don't have time or desire to plug/unplug things in when I use my system, so I did my homework and found the Gefen products. Everything about this product is top notch - the build quality, manual, and performance. Absolutely no problems running 120' over Cat5e cable.

5Sturdy, Small, Rolling Desk
By Jason W.
I bought this desk to fit in my closet off the living room. I live in a small house. It fits well.It works great. It's sturdy and rolls well on the hardwood floor. The sliding keyboard tray works very well and slides nicely. I fit 24" and 20" flat panel monitors on the desk with a little bit of overhang on each side. I have to put the mouse on the desk because there isn't room for it and the keyboard on the sliding tray. But, that's not been a big deal.It took me about and hour or so to put it together.

4An amazingly quiet, mid-power air purifier.
By dsrussell
I wanted an air purifier for my living room where I have some electronics that need protection from smoke and dust. I also needed a unit that could realistically and reliably clean the air sufficiently in this 250 square foot area and help remove the odor and particulate matter from occasional cigarette smoke that may drift into the room. It's a large volume area because of the high cathedral ceiling and open design. While that may not sound too difficult to accomplish with many mid to large air purifiers, I also wanted a unit that was as silent as possible, and that's not so easy to find.I spent several weeks researching air purifiers and came away with the conclusion that IQ Air, Austin Air and Blueair are probably the best that the industry has to offer as far as big and powerful air purifiers go these days (IQ Air has a carbon filter with 5 pounds of charcoal and Austin Air has 15 pounds of charcoal ... 15 pounds!). So why didn't I choose one of those? Price, noise level, size and looks were the determining factors (although Blueair has good noise ratings and they look attractive, but are a bit on the pricey side). Excluding any of those models wasn't easy. Nor was it easy to cross off less expensive mid-power sized units from Sharp and Winix. I also had a difficult time choosing between several models of Rabbit Air. Decisions ... decisions....In order to educate myself in the murky waters of outrageous air purifier claims, I turned to the internet, but at first I found no real help (not many websites review air purifiers). I had recently purchased a small, one-room air purifier from Alen and didn't do enough research. Turned out that I wasn't exactly thrilled with that purchase (although it's really not a bad unit per se ... I rated it 3 stars). Fortunately, I eventually found a website that took reviewing and testing of these products very seriously, which gave me more confidence when I decided to go for a more powerful (and expensive) unit in the living room. I highly recommend Air-Purifier-Power as the one and ONLY source (at present) to help shed some light on this less than stellar industry. Personally, I wouldn't rely on Consumer Reports as far as air purifiers go. I found them to be of little help and their testing methods for air purifiers have been under fire for years, and I can see why. What they rated highly gave me a good chuckle. So now that I have the Rabbit Air 700A, what do I think? As the title indicates, this is a very quiet air purifier, perhaps one of the top two or three in the industry (of the ones that have fans ... I won't go into what I think about those that don't have fans). This unit has five different fan speeds (silent, low, medium, high and turbo). To me, noise level was as critical as cleaning ability. What good is an air purifier if it interferes with your daily living? I didn't want to have to turn up the TV to drown out a fan. Of course at the two top speeds (high and turbo), one can easily hear the 700A throughout the house. Still, its high speed is quieter than many products at mid speeds. So do yourself a favor and check out fan output (CFM) and the associated noise level (dBA) on any model you may want to purchase. The Rabbit Air 700A is about 46 dBA on turbo speed (@ 187 CFM) and under 21 dBA on silent speed (@47 CFM)! BTW, some products are even quieter than this, but check the CFM to see if they are putting out as much air at that noise level.I chose the 700A over the 780A for a couple of reasons, even though I would have preferred black over white (not too impressed with the looks of this white model). The two reasons were value and noise level. These two models are virtually identical except the fan is revved up a bit on the 780A, making it a tad louder, but has the ability to suck in and blow more air and cover a little larger area. The first three speeds on the 700A (silent, low, medium) are indeed quiet, and the silent speed is aptly named. I have to get within 4 or 5 feet to begin hearing it. The CADR (clean air delivery rate) rating on the 700A and 780A is the same (except the 780A has a slightly better Pollen rating). As far as square footage is concerned, divide any number that these manufacturers spew out by two (normal ceilings) or three (high ceilings) and you will get a closer idea of what is realistic. If you assume the manufacturer's claims are legit, you may be in for disappointment (I'm pretty sure they calculate all these numbers based upon normal ceiling height and maximum fan speed, which is unrealistic in the normal home environment). I'd like to see a CADR rating at each fan speed and the use of volume in addition to square footage as far as coverage specification, but fat chance that these will ever be implemented. What separated the Rabbit Air products from each other (the 700A and 780A vs their other models), as well as other manufacturers models, is the ability to choose a custom filter (they have four to choose from at present: germ, toxin, pet allergy and odor). This is a great idea, and one can order a specific filter type depending upon one's needs. I find this makes perfect sense. And installing and changing filters is simple and painless (pealing off the cellophane wrapper on these filters is a bigger pain than installing them). It also has a permanent pre-filter one can vacuum and/or wash, which I find a very important feature. Pre-filters pick up the biggest particulate matter, and I will no longer buy an air purifier without a cleanable pre-filter. Live and learn. The ad states that it is a six stage purification system: anti-microbial pre-filter (read silver), anti-bacterial medium filter (additional dust catcher, which is unusual in the industry and helps not to overtax the HEPA filter), BioGS HEPA filter (I guess it gets that name because they added some anti-viral agents ... yeah, whatever), custom filter (not many companies I know, if any, have this option) and carbon filter (although I doubt there is much more than a pound of charcoal in it, but I haven't measured the weight). I guess the mysterious sixth stage is a negative ion generator (the good kind, but who knows these days?). I like the fact that their filter kits, which include the four changeable filters, are reasonably priced and are one of the better values I have found. This model comes with a decent set of electronics and lights for giving you information, plus it performs automatic cycling (changes fan speed depending upon the air quality that the particle sensor reads), but it doesn't come with an odor sensor. This probably isn't too big of a deal since these sensors are hardly reference quality to begin with. However, even knowing the limitations of these sensors, I like the idea of having them included and thought for the price I paid for the 700A an odor sensor should have come with this unit. At least the particle sensor gives me some feedback (accuracy not withstanding) and a baseline to go from.Rating air purifiers may not be too accurate unless one has used their particular model for a full filter cycle (anywhere from 6 months to a year depending upon the environment it is in). I've only owned this product for a little over 2 months now, and during that time I found the quality and performance has been very good. If things change during the year, I'll report back. So, between 1 and 10, I rate the Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-700A (that's a mouthful) an 8, or a solid 4-star rating, but this is assuming it will give me years of untroubled service (it does come with a 5 year warrantee, which is a big plus). Other than thinking it should have included an odor sensor (one of their cheaper models include this), I wish it had a more hefty carbon filter, say 3 pounds of charcoal at minimum, but it is what it is. This marginal carbon filter is the reason I selected the custom odor filter option (although I may opt for a different custom filter later on and swap them whenever I choose). I also felt that they should have provided a wall mounting bracket since they advertise it being wall mountable. Now if this bracket was an expensive to make add-on, I'd understand. But it's a bracket they make for a buck and sell for 10, so I consider this wringing out every cent they can from the consumer. I also had to laugh at their ridiculous claim concerning their "mood" light. Still, I'm pretty happy with this unit, but for the life of me I don't know where I can put it so it will be unobtrusive (but that would be the case for any of these devices).Update 03/10/13: Well, it's been three years since I bought this machine and it is still going strong and is just as silent. I put in my third set of filters last month. I suspect that ripping out carpet, cutting several rooms of drywall as well as sawing wood flooring reduced the life of the second filter set by quite a bit. While it is obviously pulling out dust particles from my home, one has to wonder how much it really makes a difference in the long run.

5Awesome customer support
By J. Kim
I bought this item for my dad as he has severe allergies all throughout the year. I was pondering between this unit and the IQair units, but this one seemed nicer as a gift and also sounded more automated than the IQair. My parent's are not that good with any kind of gadgets, so I wanted to make sure that they'll be able to use it. The unit seems to be working wonders for my dad. Whenever we talk, he thanks me for the gift. He wakes up with clear sinus and does not suffer allergy symptoms when he's in the house. Also when I bought this unit, it was priced at over $500 and just a few days afterwards, they started their sales. To my surprise, Rabbitair credited back the difference to my credit card without even my asking for it. Awesome customer service and now that I have my own place, I'm thinking of getting one for my self.

5amazing air purifier and one of the best
By S. Chen
I had never written a review for any product before.Tried all types of air purifiers / odor removers, and this has got to be the best system out there. Amazingly quiet while being able to push through and purify high volumes of air, even at the lowest setting, which is absolutely silent. In our apartment, normally we had problems with kitchen air after cooking, especially frying food; with this system, food / grease odor is reduced within 10-20 minutes, and eliminted COMPLETELY in the next hour or so. I could not detect a hint of food odor after 2 hours. Living in the city, we have air problems. Now, interior air is drastically improved along with my persistent sinus issues. I replaced every other air purifiers in my apartment with rabbit air minusA2's. The unit is very easy on the eye and non-obtrusive. And once again, when the unit is on one of the lower settings, it is completely inaudible.I contacted Rabbit Air support for some billing issues and some technical issues, and was greeted very courteously and professionally. The support staffs were very knowledgeable and helpful. I am absolutely happy with this air purifier and highly recommend to anyone who is seriously looking for ways to improve air quality and odor removal.pros: silent, very effective at odor removal and air purification, most aesthetically pleasing system out there, one of the thinnest profile out there, and it truely workscons: a bit pricey, filter replacement cost

5Must Have!
By Sandra Bird
We bought 5 of these coolers as groomsmen gifts for our wedding. We embroidered last names onto the front to personalize them and added special gifts inside. The groomsmen all love them and often comment on what an awesome gift they were. Since they were gifts, we had not ordered one for ourselves, but after hearing the rave reviews from our friends, we got one of our own. It is the perfect size and the shoulder strap makes it easily transportable.

MINIMALIST RUNNING / BAREFOOT RUNNING The typical human foot is an anatomical masterpiece of evolution with 26 bones, 33 joints, 20 muscles, and hundreds of sensory receptors, tendons and ligaments. To keep our feet healthy, like the rest of our bodies, they need to be stimulated and exercised regularly. Many experts believe the shoes we wear not only cast the foot in a protective form, but can also weaken our foot and leg muscles, leaving them underdeveloped and more susceptible to injury. And while there are many occasions where traditional footwear is essential for protection, safety, and security, it is equally important to stimulate and exercise our feet in a more natural state on a regular basis. To stimulate the muscles in your feet and lower legs, which in turn can make stronger, healthier and improve your balance then the Vibram Fivefingers could help you achieve this. Use them for training, running and many other activities to see the benfits!

4Best Vibram model for road/trail
By VaughanJT
I began running in the Vibram KSO's about a year ago and average 20-25 miles per week in them (once I built the requisite foot/calf strength). The TrekSport is a great upgrade over the KSO simply because the sole of the TrekSport is thicker and cleated. This is a critical fact if you plan on trail running. I found the KSO's sole to be too thin when running off road, especially on pea-sized gravel as you will feel this through the shoe; you will be shielded from gravel in the TrekSport. Also, with the TrekSport, you will not lose "ground sensitivity" with the thicker sole. Finally, the microbial addition in the TrekSport makes them less odorous than regular KSOs with prolonged use. My old KSOs continually smelled even after several machine washings. If you are in-between sizes, you should opt for the larger size so that your toes will not be cramped in the toe pockets. I am a size 10.5 and the TrekSport 42 size worked best for me.

4Gloves for your feet.
By Jinx
I picked these up because a co-worker mentioned the whole "Born to Run" and barefoot running craze that's going around. He's into that, I'm not. I don't run. I have lower back pain that translates down into my knee. I was less interested in the running aspect than I was about the thought of what these shoes are really about--getting us back to a natural walk/run. In America, we have a lot of people who have knee problems, but in other countries, for instance Japan where they walk around barefoot in their homes and spend tons of time kneeling, knee problems are a lot less. I looked around at the minimalist shoes and then figured, what the hey, I'll jump straight into these "Monkey Feet".Honestly, I'm glad I did. I may never go back to "regular shoes". I chose the KSO Trek Brown because of all the varieties, these are the most conservative. I wasn't too comfortable with the fact that people would see my toes. That's weird! And it is. Since I bought them, I've overcome that and came to the conclusion of "So what? I don't care what anybody else thinks." Honestly, people don't really notice my feet unless they really look at my feet, then they are shocked, interested, confused, and start asking questions. I even had one guy complement me on them. Talk about weird. One guy complementing another on his shoes. (Yes, I checked my masculinity afterwards just to be certain.) But, I digress.I've done minimal running with them, mostly sprinting after my children when they were getting into trouble on the playground equipment. Did I experience knee pain? To an extent. But it wasn't prolonged running either. So, no, this hasn't cured my back pain completely nor made me able to solve complex nth-degree differential equations in my sleep. However, I'm not a sprinter, but those shoes made me able to grip the ground so much better, gain the traction I needed, and made my sprint faster than I've ever done. (when I ran, it was long distance, I'm slow at sprinting.)So, without further ado, here are the cons and pros:Cons:* Cost. I don't know about you, but $125 is a lot of money for me to spend on shoes. They better last more than a year.* Sizing. If you go to VFFs website they have their funky sizing chart and if you measure your foot you'll get something close to the European measurement, though not quite. Then when you try them on, your toes burst through the seams and the shoe goes flying off like the glass slipper from Cinderella's evil step-sister. Okay, not that bad, but their sizing needs to be rethought. Everywhere I read stated that you must go at least one size, if not two over what their sizing recommends. The best option is to go someplace that sells them, try them on and get the proper measurement there. Additionally, the sizing is not consistent throughout the entire line of shoe. From what I've read, classics differ by at least one size than some of the others. That, by itself is extremely annoying. I measured, tried a pair on, and found that one or two sizes more than what VFF recommended was ideal.* Accommodation. If you have weird feet, forget it. These shoes are based on a standard format. So, if your first toe is longer than your big toe, there is no accommodation for that, except to go with a shoe larger to work with that long toe. If you have syndactyly, forget it.* Customer Service. When I pay over $100 for a product, I have an expectation that Customer Service should be very helpful, especially since this product seems to be picking up quite the following and the trend is moving in this direction (for now). I live in an arid climate and I noticed that after washing my shoes they were drying out and beginning to lighten, especially the straps. I did my research on-line and found that Mink Oil can help. However, before I jumped into that, and because the leather on top is very soft and some warnings I've read caution on that, I wanted to confirm with VFF that Mink Oil would be okay to use, or to see if they had another suggestion. CS was a joke. The answer I got was: We don't sell the shoe for its outward appearance. Nonsense! Triple nonsense! And a couple words that shouldn't be posted on a G-rated forum. You look at their line up and the vast majority of their shoes are about outward appearance with some of them designed to draw your eye to the fact that you are wearing toe shoes! Neon green between the toes, hunter orange between the toes? Nah, those'll never draw the eye to the feet.... For that stupidity alone, these shoes lost a star and nearly lost two.* Care. These shoes are designed to be close fitting with some breathing. However, my feet sweat. And after a while, despite their much hyped EVA Microfiber antimicrobial soles, bacteria builds up and you get stinky feet. Some have started to call it the five-fingered funk. So, yes, you do have to wash them and treat them. There are many options out there. Wearing toe socks can help mitigate that, but you'll still get that funk.* Toe Socks. Admitted, this is optional, but my feet sweat, then they get even colder at work. So, toe socks for me is a must. Do you know how hard it is to find toe socks for men at your regular brick and mortar sports shops? Even the department stores don't carry them. They look at you funny when you ask for them. So, that leaves the internet because, no, I'm just not comfortable wearing pink and lime green striped toe socks to work.* Breaking in. This refers more to your body than the actual shoe. With regular shoes you more often do a heel-strike (hitting with your heel first) than a toe-strike (hitting with the balls of your feet). Here you walk more like you are barefoot, which means you are more likely to do a toe-strike. Because of this, your muscles will go through an adjustment period to get used to the fact that you're not walking/running the way you've been doing it for 20+ years. Additionally, if you haven't worn flip-flops in a while and then you start wearing them you get that ache between your big toe and your first toe. Take that and apply it to all your toes. Yeah, feel the pain!* Putting them on. For many people, like my co-worker, putting these things on is very time consuming--ten minutes plus. For me, I do a slight instep (point my foot inward) and wriggle my toes in. If they go in the wrong toe spot, I slip them out a little and then use my fingers to make the slight correction just as I would with a glove.Pros:* Gloves for your feet. It seriously feels like a pair of well-fitted gloves only for my feet.* Comfort. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I could go on, but then I'd have to check my masculinity again.* Arches. No, not the golden ones. I have high arches and with regular shoes I'm always looking for that arch support, or adding it to them because my foot hurts otherwise. With these, there is no arch support. Guess what, I don't need it. My feet feel great because I'm walking the way thousands of years of evolution (or divine providence, whichever you believe in) has designed my foot to be. I don't have problems with my arches now.* Feel the floor. Whether running, jumping, walking, yoga, or martial arts, I can feel the ground with my feet so much better than I could in regular shoes. This allows me to dig in and get better foot positioning and better traction. And believe me, the KSO Treks have really good traction for digging in.* Ooooh, they feel so good. I could almost wear them to bed.* Better running/walking mechanics. A growing trend in research is to look at running patterns of people running with shoes and without and determine what is going on. This research is growing and it points to those running barefoot or with minimal protection have better mechanics and are able to transfer their weight through the stride more effectively and efficiently. Some popular books talk solely about barefoot running and how it is so much better. I'll leave that up to you to decide, to do the research and decide what you think best.* The cure-all. Many people claim to have been cured of everything from foot problems, lower back pain, marital problems, all the way to curing STDs. Some of that is debatable, but research is pointing that those who run/walk as we were designed to (read: barefoot or as close to it as possible) use their bodies more effectively and reduce the unnecessary stress on joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles.* Great for Vegans. Don't know why this is important, but it is, to the company. Just read their FAQ.* Monkey feet. Don a fez, a little vest, some wings, and you can be that little flying monkey from the Wizard of Oz.Okay, either I'm getting really sleepy, bored, or both. And perhaps you are too if you haven't already fallen asleep through this Trollopian review. And if you have, then you are sleep-reading which can be a dangerous, addictive habit--get an intervention, now! I know I listed more cons than I did pros and went on and on and on about them. I figure if you read the reviews you will read a ton of glowing reviews. Some will be candid. I hope this one will give you information on what can be a potential downfall for you. For me, the gamble paid off and the pros (even those unlisted ones) far outweigh the cons.I rated this 4 star because I love them. I will probably get me a second pair (KSO, red--do the red one Bob) in the near future so I can take them kayaking without worrying about drying leather on my feet. My wife is going to get herself a pair (Jayas), but she walks around barefoot most of the time anyway. I will probably never go back to wearing regular shoes, unless I'm forced to by a four-hundred pound, muscle bound freak of nature and that's if he's sitting on my chest and another is putting the shoe on me. They lost one because their Customer Service is lacking (and yes, I will ding them on that. If you don't like it, deal with it.)If you decide to go with them, good luck, happy feeting, low fives to you. If not, well, good luck.

5Pricey but OH so comfortable!
By Z. Morosini
A year ago I bought the women's black, kangaroo-leather KSO Treks after trying on several different styles at a store (they were all less expensive than leather, but for the life of me, I couldn't get them on!). These, however, literally slipped right on. It took a few days to break them in--by that, I mean get over the whole toe-separation thing. Now I forget I'm wearing them. As for function, I've been doing really hard "Insanity" and P90X workouts at home for a year and haven't felt ANY pain or discomfort from these wonderful shoes. I even wear them to work (they look great with black pants or even jeans)! People think they're funny-looking, but they're all curious about how the shoes feel and ask if I like them. I've run in them many times. Your calves will feel it the next day until you get used to the transfer of impact from joints and soles to working calf muscles. Amazing how your body re-adapts to a more natural running state, meaning fore- and mid-foot striking, which causes less stress on the heel, knee, and ankle (check out "barefoot running" on Youtube). I used to think I needed lots of padding (I used to wear Nike Shox and put WalkFit orthotics inside), but these have proven that theory WRONG, at least for me. NO MORE plantar fasciitis, no more knee, ankle or hip pain--there was always something hurting after any kind of workout before, even just a brisk 3-mile walk; I'd wake up the next morning crippled. They've also helped my posture. If these ever wear out I'll be buying another pair. I have narrow feet and usually wear a women's size 8 shoe, so the 38 fit me. I'd STRONGLY recommend trying them on at a store to be sure you like them and you find the right size for you. Each style is a little different-feeling. DON'T buy them on Ebay, you'll probably get a fake. The Vibram website is helpful, too. Happy, healthy fitness to you!

5Easy to install, feels solid and LED works... hope it works if I need it.
By Jay
I installed one of these on our HOA's main power panel. This panel was 3 Phase and provides power to large waterfall pump and the entry gates to the subdivision. The gate equipment has been previously hit by lightning and we wanted something to prevent that again. Contractors wanted $300-900 to install one of these devices and I knew it was cake to do it ourselves. This unit is well made and installation was a breeze. It's no more complicated then installing a breaker, 4 wires and you're done. Just be careful, turn off the panel, and use a meter to double check everything. LED is on and we hope it prevents any further problems.
