Great boot!

I love these shoes! They are more like an insulated hiking boot versus a bulky snow boot. I found them very comfortable, particularly for walking, and they kept my feet warm on cold Minnesota days. Great traction on snowy and icy surfaces too. Worth the investment.Update 12/27/2012Still wearing these boots and loving them. I spent an hour outside in -2F weather playing with my kids and my feet never got cold (I was wearing a pair of hiking socks). I also like these for going for winter walks. They're comfortable, not clunky and the soles are great for slippery surfaces.

bad fit

Received and returned. As someone else mentioned, the fit was strange. This is supposed to be a "slip on" but it was very difficult to get on, even though I bought a size up. Then, when I finally managed to get it on, it was too large and loose to walk comfortably. Also, the color was deceiving. It looked like dark brown in the picture, but the upper part was actually purple! Which I didn't mind too much, but the fit was just bad. A shame, because otherwise, it seemed like it would be very warm and comfy.

Decent, but...

The fit & finish on this headlight is nice but the problem is that out at the far edge where it would shine into the ditch is dark. There is a defined line where the light cuts off. The light itself is bright, but it doesn't have the "panorama" lighting that the OEM lights do. We had to replace the driver's side light due to hitting a swamp donkey, so the difference between the lights is quite obvious. Its significant and you WILL notice the difference between the OEM light spread and this one. This is not an inexpensive light and I was pretty disappointed about this.

Great driverside replacement

5 stars because im happy with this purchase.I liked that it came with all the bulbs but i replaced them with brighter ones. headlight came quick and it all worked just plug in and play..Actually for my '07 impala I had to cut the rubber towards the front so it could fit the body, also the hole for the bolt that fastens this headlight to the body was off to the left and front a little so my bolt broke but its an easy fix just cut the hole bigger to the back and right and viola you can screw a bolt and washer to keep it bolted to the car.

Didn't really get to use these outside of trial efforts on some snow-covered ridges in Colorado in May. Wanted to use them for entire trip but Colorado has minimal snow left to give them the true test. I like the heel support bracket on the back of the shoe.

Caution

I very much enjoyed my Tubbs snowshoes until the binding split, making one snowshoe unusable.This was after about two winters of moderate use... but considering the price, you should expect to get more than thatTubbs would not honour any warranty without a receipt. Good luck finding it.So my caution is this... do not expect Tubbs to back up their product in the long run.Consider Atlas who give a lifetime warranty.

BEST Flat Iron! I LOVE it!

If you're looking for a quality flat iron, this it!I had the GHD flat iron for a few years, which was good. Then my dog chewed through the cords (Grrrr! Bad dog!). So I had to borrow a flat iron from my friend. She brought me this one. It was AMAZING!!!! My hair was so smooth and straight from one run through!! And you can't beat the price for the quality of the product and the results!Displays in different temperatures if you like. It automatically shuts off if not used (I always love this feature in hot tools, because I'm afraid of accidentally leaving them plugged in!)HAIR TIP: I learned a trick to making sure your hair gets the same straight quality to the last strand. You notice how your hair is never as straight as when you started? Well with this Tool Science flat iron, there is a digital display that shows how hot the flat iron is. After one run through, the heat goes down at least 20 degrees. So, now I wait until it goes back up to the heat I set it to (which is always the highest) to make sure I get the same great straight look I got when I first used it. It does take longer because you have to wait for it to get back to the same temperature each time, but it's worth it to have the look and the display keeps you from having to guess if you've waited long enough!

Better than a Chi

(I'm going to come right out and say that the other person who rated this product a one star is simply downright clumsy. Of course, if you drop something, it might just break. I haven't dropped my flat iron yet, not sure if that's something I'm looking into, but! Moving on...)I've tried the Chi, my roommate has one and I wanted to get one for myself because I liked the results I got after using it. But, the price tag was absolutely horrifying. I bought the Tool Science Nano Silver flat iron for $38 on Amazon after using my friend's. I loved it. The difference, to me, is the heat control. It has a digital display that shows the exact temperature. Like the Chi, it stays hot. But something that really got me hooked was that after using the Chi my hair felt really oily and looked super dirty and I had to wash and straighten my hair everyday. With this one, my hair stays looking silky and healthy, not dirty and weighed down and hippyish, and I can wear my hair straight for 3 days without washing. Oh, and for some reason, the Chi made my hair stink.. this one still lets me rock that fresh wash scent. I think it was more than worth the money!! Actually, I bought 2! One for myself, and one for my boyfriend's mom. It's great :)

I purchased this after my hair dresser recommended it but I was not satisfied. It fell off my vanity to the floor and broke in half... Poorly designed and definitely not worth what I paid for it... I thought it was commercial grade.

Small field of vision

I'm trying Maui Jim for the first time. I purchased the grey lens punchbowl sngls for ladies since I'm a woman, 45yrs old. The polarized quality is great! Really blocks the sunlight so you don't have to squint. I've been wearing them for a few weeks and the only problem that I have found is my field of vision seems compromised while I am driving. The glasses don't seem to be wide enough for me and I can't see the cars coming up alongside my car. I like the polarization while driving, but am afraid that I am going to get in an accident. Will order a larger style next time.

These are very comfortable, cute sunglasses. Brown frames with pink on the inside, superior lens quality as well. Flex hinges make them fit like a dream! I love Maui Jim so much I have 2 pair and my husband has some as well. One of the few brands I'll actually come off the cash for.

These are my second pair of Maui Jims. I bought these to replace the ones my daughter knocked out of my purse. They are absolutely wonderful sunglasses. I just about can't live without my Maui Jims! They were a little cheaper here than most places- Maui Jim website, Sunglasses Hut, etc. Please note the color "Chocolate Fade"; it is more of a two-tone pair of sunglasses than the picture shows. It starts at the top darker brown and then fades into a very pale color. I like them, but I was surprised at that at first.
