awesome weekend travel bag

Very well made and I love the leather. Gorgeous backpack, Great protection

This Belkin Dash Backpack was more expensive than some other bags I was looking at, but once I got it in the mail, I knew I made the right choice. This bag looks great and is made really, really well.The backpack is pretty simple in styling, it's deep gray and black with -- thankfully-- no ugly logos or netted fabric. It's got a non-skid black rubberized bottom which is very cool. I love that I can get away with using this for work, as well as hiking around town. This bag is seriously stylish.I live in a rainy place, so real weather protection of my laptop is paramount. This backpack has kept everything inside perfectly protected, even at the zippers and seams. It is made very well, such quality.The storage in this backpack is a huge draw. I can carry so much besides my laptop, like my papers, books and a lunch. I can put my wallet pocket in the zippered top pocket for easy access, or if I'm feeling paranoid, I can hide it in one of the inside security pockets. A bonus is that it's got a MP3 player holder in the backpack strap (w/ a magnet for ear buds). The straps are padded and wide, so they're comfortable and don't dig into my shoulders. Highly recommended to anyone looking for something like this.I even got a 17" laptop in here, even though it's made for 16", though it was tight. The bag has so much space & pockets, you can't go wrong. It's expensive but think about what you're lugging around. This backpack is so nice I even use it when I'm not carrying around my laptop.

Nice Backpack for traveling use

This backpack is pretty well designed for traveling use with a larger size laptop.What I like about this product :- Padded laptop holder which could easily fit a larger sized 14" to 15" laptop- Extra padding on the back for added comfort and better protection of the laptop- Spacious front compartment which can hold 4-5 books- Lots of extra zippered pockets (3 on the outside and 2 inside) for holding smaller items- True water resistant which is great for traveling in all weather conditionsWhat could be better :- The shoulder strap could use more padding for comfort- Lack of water bottle holder- Even though the product stated that it can hold a 16" laptop. It would be a very tight fit particularly for laptops with protruded extended-life battery,

Durable, lightweight... Loving it!

I just took this backpack on an international trip and am more than impressed with it. I have 3 or 4 others that don't have the simple organization or comfort of this one. It actually held 2 laptops, kindle, iPad, iPod, 2 cell phones, some snacks, a change of clothes, and a ziplock of toiletries.The design is made with tech products in mind. There are several padded dividers so that items are protected from each other. There is also a handy credit card and pen section, as well as multiple little pockets to stow your cell phone and iPod. The iPod pocket features a convenient opening to pass your earbud wires through, as well as a nearby magnetic strip to hold the earbuds when not in use.The straps are well-padded and sturdy enough to carry a very heavy load for long periods, both on my back, as well as on my front (in crowded airports where theft was a concern.)I will continue to use this one for travel in the coming months and hopefully years. Thoroughly impressed.

Today is my catch up on all amazon purchases day and write reviews for all my years purchases out of respect to hardworking manufacturers. My husband and I both own briefcases from Royce Leather - his is the soft sided brief but I like the buttery soft Colombian leather my brief is made out of. It really holds up to the long arduous tough commute every day and it definitely wears in rather than wears out. Excellent choice and thank you amazon for the incredible discount!

Huge Improvement Over First Hornet Design!

The first Hornet was a real disappointment in terms of function and durability...pieces tended to fall off at the slightest touch. The red Target exclusive redesign fixes most if not all of these flaws. The skids are more sturdy, helped by the new side rails. The new sliding cockpit is a nice touch, and the fixed tail with the pivoting rotors is another huge improvement. The wing guns are a good upgrade, while the nose cannon has lost some detail, but now spins. I was initially wary of the red color, but it goes well with the white arctic units.The other part of the set, the Covenant Sniper Tower, is a great addition to the bad guys' ground forces. A bit fragile, but once set up, it looks great when you add some Jackals and a Grunt or two with a plasma cannon.Get it from Target if you can, it's only $29.99, along with the red Warthog Troop Transport that's $19.99...they make a great pair! I highly recommend you add this set to your Halo Mega Bloks collection!

A very impressive kit!

The tower with a vulture is an easy build and is a real addition to your collection. One figure is not enough but it is easy to populate it with grunts or brutes from the Series 3 figure packs.The Hornet is VERY NICE. I cannot comment on any redesign but this is a well-built item that will stand up in reasonable handling. It is a detailed build and requires your full attention. I had to do a rework a couple of times. Mega Bloks snap together and may require some push to make them snap. This results in a tighter fit and a more stable toy. The turbo engines rotate, the flaps move, the Gatling gun spins and the cockpit slides back. The UNC Pilot is a nice figure but the cockpit is a tight fit.The two major figures are the UNC Hayabusa Spartan and the Covenant Jackal. The Spartan has a sword and is nicely detailed. The Jackal is one of the best figures in the HALO line.This is a Target special for $35 until mid November. I had to go to a second store to find one.

One star off for the tower, but the Hornet is A++

The tower is lackluster, and disappointing in that it didn't include any plasma cannons or anything. It's also very flimsy, the bottom ramps are just awful. Can't be used on carpet because they break off too easily. My son was also disappointed in the fact that the tube holding bottom to top was so tiny - he wanted to be able to have a figure rise up from the bottom to the top like in the game. They just have a very narrow diameter colored piece of tube locking them together.The hornet, on the other hand, is a VERY solid build. The only pieces that didn't line up well were the plastic hand rails on the outboard sides for the UNSC grunts to hold on to when they're on the outer platform. Every other part fit perfectly, and it's a VERY solid build, very little hollow space in this thing - layered and layered, it holds up well and it'll be difficult for my 8 year old to dislodge anything unless he drops it outright.This is about the most solid of the ones I got him for xmas, right on par with the covenant wraith as far as how well it's layered and supports itself and has no warping during play.The red is cool since it's his favorite color, so he freaked when he opened this present this year.About all they could've done to improve it would've been having some spring loaded missiles to shoot, but since it's all about imagination anyway, that would've just been gravy on an already outstanding replica toy.

Perfect handbag!

I purchased a bag like this more than 10 years ago. When it finally wore out I searched just about everywhere for a replacment. I actually found this one by accident as it is listed as a men's bag.Actually, it's perfect for a woman who needs to carry many things and doesn't want a huge purse. It has 3 large zippered compartments as well as a smaller one to keep everything organized. No more digging at the bottom of a large bag! A nice mat, excellent shape to keep it under you

I've owned several mats over the years, always getting the typical rectangular shape, unfortunately they all suffered from the same problem, me. I always seem to roll of the end of the mat, or the shape interfears with the placement of computer components under the desk. The light bulb shape of this mat places most of the mat under the chair where it should be and after several months I haven't rolled off it once ! Its not as thick as come mats which I have owned over the years, but it appears to be holding up well so far. It arrives rolled and getting it to lie flat was quite an excersize, luckily no one was around to document my antics. Once I finally managed to get it flattened out it stayed that way. Of the various mats I have owned, this is my favorite. I am using this mat in a room covered with a shallow carpet, similar to sisal.

These shorts stretch and are super comfortable. Do not even bother me when riding. Optional padding inside is helpful when riding. Was surprised I would like them so much. Also, have sunglass rag attachment in one of pockets, you can remove it, but that was a bonus

Great biking shorts

I bought a pair of these at REI (size 32) and these are just great. Internal lining is detachable which allows two pieces to be used and washed separately if needed. If it's cold outside and you want to have pants on, instead of the shorts, you can still use the lining with gel padding. On the other hand, the shorts can be worn to gym or on a jog and you don't have to walk around with gel pads on. This makes shorts very useful outside of biking.Material and stitching are of superb quality. The pockets are well placed and allow for easy access while biking and hold your items securely. I did two 50-mile rides wearing these and several training rides. I had them on while doing free-weight workouts and these were comfortable. Another feature is the ability to have a belt (even wider belts will go in fine) put through the loops, but I have not had any reason to do so yet. This could be useful for someone in security or law enforcement.

18mm Equivalent Lens For The LX5

I recently took hundreds of photos with this lens at an air museum where Howard Hughes Spruce Goose is located. This was the perfect lens for indoor museum shots.Of course this lens requires the adapter tube (DMW-LA6) that screws onto the LX5 lens.The lens is very sharp across the entire frame with one exception. The corners are soft if you shoot with the aperture wide open at F2.0 Closing the aperture down to even F3.2 will improve the softness considerably. At around F5, it's hardly noticeable.

Excellent desk - high build quality

I checked out this desk at Fry's, and it looked great in the store. I looked at similar desks at Office Depot, but they never measured up to my memory of the Techni Mobili desk. After moving where there was no Fry's, I ordered the desk off Amazon (CSN), even though someone earlier only rated it 3 stars. Excellent desk. All of the glass pieces are secured to the frame, so they do not slide or wobble. Very sturdy. All of the joints were well thought out, and the instructions are clear and concise (picture-driven). It's a beautiful desk, and I couldn't be happier! FYI, the glass rectangles measure roughly 35.5" x 19 5/8" and 41 5/8" x 19 5/8".

Pretty Good Computer Desk

I like this product. It is sturdy, looks good (with a modern look to it), and is just the right size for the second bedroom of my small apartment. I also like it's L-Shape. Unfortunately the shelf holding the keyboard is too small. I knew this from another review before I bought this computer desk, but I bought it anyway. So I will just have to live with it.

Very nice Desk....

Looks as pictured, beautiful glass, very sturdy, my 25 pound monitor rests in the center glass, upon assembly when we reached the shorter glass,we discovered it was shattered, we took pics right away and called to inform them , although it was not always a short wait for a representative , they werevery helpful and polite. We did receive a replacement 12 days after reporting damage. The replacement was wrapped very well, and we are very happy withthe desk!

OMG UGGs!!!!!! Life long love affair!!!!!!

If you have not tried Uggs yet, you don't have a clue what you are missing. Forget about how they look (although, I love the way they look), forget about how expensive they are, and just try these puppies on your tootsies. You will never love any shoe more! They will spoil your feet for any others. They are the BEDROOM SLIPPER OF BOOTS! And just wait until you try the slippers...!!!

Finally an acceptable alternative to incandescent

I have been looking for a replacement of our vaulted ceiling incandescent can lights. I like the warm light of incandescent lights and I like their instant FULL on. I hate that they burn out quickly. Our vaulted ceiling has 8 can lights with 100 watt bulbs in them. I have to replace 3-5/year. The high ceilings make this a task a true pain.The other issue is the 800 watts that the incandescent bulbs consume when they are on! Whew.So we first went with the CFLs. Those solve the burnout problem and help with the watt consumption, BUT they are dimmer and yield a sickly looking light - even the ones billed as warm, I don't like. I also really don't care for how slow the CLFs are in reaching their full brightness: even the instant on versions don't actually reach their full potential for a minute or two.I replaced all with these CREE LR6. They are expensive - BUMMER. However these LEDs are the best thing going. They produce light that is indistinguishable to the incandescent. They consume just over 11 watts (according to my Kill-A-Watt)and have an output very close the the 100 watt bulbs: I would estimate 90 watt equivalent, although CREE advertises as a 75 watt equivalent. They also turn on FULLY instantaneously, or nearly so. Side-by-side with an incandescent the CREE LEDs are just slightly slower, but it is unnoticeable in my opinion.I have had them for about 8 months now, so I cannot speak to the 50,000 hrs in longevity. I am happy thus far.UPDATE: We are now at 2 years with these lights, and I'd estimate close to 2,000 hours of use. None have burned out which is expected given their estimated hours, and more importantly we have not noticed any color shift with them. We have some other "regular" bulb type LEDs that started out warm, but have slowly seen a slightly blue shift in the color.

Wonderful light

If you are looking for an LED downlight that produces a beautiful incandescent like light, this unit should delight you. We put three of them in a bathroom remodel and were so pleased that we put another 10 in a kitchen remodel. The light turns on instantly at full brightness, it is a true warm incandescent color (very well matched between units), and it uses only 12 watts of power while putting out more light than our former 50ER30 downlights. You may mutter a bit about the initial cost, but I doubt you will regret choosing these superior quality lights.
