I purchased this outfit for my themed Christmas Party. It fit wonderfully and the material is great! It does not look chinsy like most of the Halloween type outfits.

I bought this costume to attend an adult Halloween dance this year. This is the first time in 20 years that I have dressed up in a costume, so it was a pretty big deal for me. Since I was attending a dance, it was important that my costume was wearable and somewhat danceable. I mean, I did not expect to jitterbug all night long, but I wanted somethat that would not tear up if my partner gave me a spin or two. This costume fit the bill. I purchased the 1X size which is pretty true for a 14/16 girl. The dress fit very nicely, and was figure flattering. The dress material was pretty durable and did not tear at all. I was nervous at first and purchased the 2X - sometimes 1X is not really 1X,especially when it comes to affordable pricing. The 2X was too large so I had to send back. The return process was easy and I recieved the replacment dress in 2 days! Had plenty of time to ensure fit, and get matching accessories. I am happy I used Amazon and the Franco American Novelty Company. Can't wait untill next year to shop with them again
