i was familiar with jay turser les paul style guitarsand liked the sound they created. this acoustic electricwas on a amazon special price of $71 dollars delivered.i took a chance and was happy with the results. i play this through a line 6 30watt amp. able to get "lucy in the sky withdiamonds" with a bit of reverb and phaser on this guitar.it looks great with the sunburst finish and has a built intuner. will fit those looking for a creedence/petty/stones"honky tonk women" folk rock sound. recommended.

I was a little unsure about buying a Guitar Iv'e never played before, but I decided to take the chance for the price. Totally worth it. This guitar is fantastic. =) Its quite a bit darker then in the picture, and they put a right handed neck on a left handed guitar. The electronics work perfectly, the Tuner is dead on perfect. For a left handed acoustic/electric with a cutaway, this is far better then anything else your going to find for the price.

I'm just getting back into guitat playing after a lenghty break. I was looking for an instrument that wouldn't sit me back an arm and a leg. I received the Turser about a week ago. I couldn't be more pleased. The sound is excellent. The built in turner is pretty cool. I haven't tried the "electric" feature, just acoustic. It should be mentioned that this guitar has a built in four band equalizer. I judge the tone of a guitar by the sounds of the harmonics and the way they resonate. This guitar sounds great!! I did file about 1/8" off the bottom of the bridge, lowering the strings a little, but that's just my preferance.
