The Pelican 1514 Medium Protector Case with Black Dolly is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dust-proof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4 mm) neoprene o-ring, ABS latches that seal perfectly and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. A nameplate (included) can be personalized (engraved at additional cost). The 1514 comes with a side handle, front handle and an extension handle. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle. The padlock protectors provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft. An eleven piece padded and flexible divider set is included. FEATURES:

I really like this case. Slightly larger wheels might be nice but it goes ok. It's just not *quite* large enough to contain my laptop which is what I really bought it for: a safe place for my laptop and other gear/tools. It comes with a lot of velcro dividers. Almost too many. I also bought the accessory which adds pockets to the inside of the lid. I sort of feel this should have come with the case but I guess not everyone needs it. Pelican stuff is always unfortunately pricey but I'm reasonably sure this case will last.

This item was delivered to my FPO address way ahead of the expected delivery date. much appreciated.It fits my most used camera gear. But I was thinking it would be a little larger. I haven't boarded any flights yet so don't know what the airlines will say. I usually get the once over with my other gear bags. We'll see.
