I have never needed a graphing calculator before and was a little nervous. This one is very user friendly & with minimal help from my professor, on-line materials or the user manual I've been able to use it easily.

If you purchase this calculator through the supplier EXCELLENT CALCULATORS, the item you receive will not match the photo or the product description. I purchased this item under the belief that I would be receiving the green model of the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. This was not the case. When I received my calculator, I thought it was odd that the packaging had been cut so that the calculator could be removed without opening the whole thing. Then I noticed that the faceplate and the cover were two different shades of green. It became apparent that the calculator, although new, was a mix and match of different green parts. This upset me because I paid more money to have what I thought would be the green colored version of the calculator. I could have purchased the standard color and faceplate on my own for less money. I contacted both Amazon and EXCELLENT CALCULATORS about the matter. It turns out that EXCELLENT CALCULATOR buys closeout models of the TI calculators, hence why the one I received came in opened packaging and didn't match the product description. I was given the choice to either return the calculator and receive a full refund (not including the shipping) or to keep the calculator and receive a $20 refund.

Great Calculator. If you're looking at all the calculators and wondering whether to buy Silver Edition or not, I think it's worth it. Nice big screen, mostly self-explanitory buttons, and cool color. It would be nice if the screen had different colors on the graphs though.
