I enjoy trail running, but typically end up doing a mixed trail/road run. Many trail shoes feel awesome on soft terrain, but exhibit minimal flex and feel stiff on roads.Not this one! This shoe has a really solid road presence, with good flexibility and cushioning for asphalt/concrete, as well as a strong, aggressive grip for typical trail surfaces.Highly recommended...

I'm just getting back into running after taking a few years off. I normally run around my neighborhood but recently got into trail running here in Colorado Springs and felt totally reenergized. The only problem was my shoes were old and just made for the street. I was slipping and sliding on rocks and starting to get shin splints. I've had Brooks before and saw these shoes on their website. It had some great reviews everywhere, so I decided to give them a try. Let me tell you, I couldn't be happier. Complete traction on dirt, gravel, boulders... you name it. Even running on the road feels better. It has areas of the shoe undersole on the heel that are angled to help you climb hills and also on the toe for steep declines. All in all, great shoe.

I buy Brooks mens shoes for my 10 yr old son. He has wide feet and Brooks shoes fit very well and are quality made. The shoes seem to hold up very well and don't get holes like other brands. Plus the color hides the dirt really well too. Very happy with my purchase!
