My pitty LOVES people. No problem there at all. But, she's not yet proven fully safe around my cats or other dogs. We don't *think* she'd hurt them, but we don't want to find out the hard way. I got this so we could at least let her explore where the cats are without a really horrible accident happening. I'm always watching but... I'm not one to take chances. :) The muzzle fits her well - lots of space for her to pant and eat treats and do everything except grab something with her mouth. She doesn't really object to it unless she's trying to pick up a rawhide bone. It's very sturdy, lovely embossing on the black leather part, and comes with a nice pouch. I was really impressed with the quality.
