Works as advertised, keeps my AMD Quad core system temperature lower then the stock cooler that came with the CPU. Package was packed well and arrived in perfect condition.

After 6 years it was time for my old computer to get retired. I got a combo Do It Yourself kit from a competitor with the new 2nd generation Sandy Bridge. Well the new motherboard was made for overclocking through the bios and constantly had high cpu temps from jump. Already had two front fans, a rear fan, and a top fan. Decided to get the side fan and this Kuhler shelf.Before the install of the Kuhler shelf, I did install the side fan and still got warnings and one thermal shutdown (during the Windows 7 performance test) and often was in the 100 degree territory.Yesterday after finally installing the Kuhler shelf ; I'm averaging 85 degrees on the CPU and 95 degrees on the motherboard. Yes this thing makes the cpu cooler than the motherboard; even though it is a bit warm in the house and area today.CPU is averaging 10-12 degrees cooler than the motherboard; both cooler than my normal body temperature (this is with a 20% performance boost added thru Asus auto tuning overclock software).Taking off 1 pt because at one point I misplaced a part and wanted to get just that part ordered; vendor didn't supply that one part. Eventually I found it which is why its install was later than the side fan.ASUS P8P67 LEIntel 2600 i7
