I bought this faucet to replace a cheap faucet I bought at the Wal Mart. That one was also "brushed nickel" which actually meant "chrome with a brushed nickel coating". After about 3 years the coating wore off in spots and looked terrible.This faucet, on the other hand, is solid with an actual brushed nickel finish. Nothing to wear off. It is very heavy and well made. The faucet does not turn, it is fixed in place. It looks like it would turn but it does not.All in all a great faucet at a great price. Give your bathroom an updated look for not a lot of money!
