I do really like the upgrade with the LED over the standard bulb that came with my Surefire. I got a surefire G2 issued to me so the upgrade to me was like just paying for the flashlight. Would definitely be worth it if you are replacing a burnt out bulb...Pros-It really extends battery life-I like the look of the LED better-Runs cooler-Much brighter than the standard xenon bulbCons-Price, but it is worth it in the money you can save on batteries-Still gets hot, but cooler than the xenon bulb. I takes longer to get hot than the standard bulb but I was kind of surprised. I didn't think heat would be a factorAll in all, a decent upgrade

This gives more, whiter light than the original. The white light is weaker than the origanal yellow light from the filamne tbulb. I am not sure if this or the original is a better illuminator, but using the LED upgrade gives amuch longer battery life. I reccomend this upgrade.
