By P. Webb
I bought my first Victorinox Mobilizer 22" over 10 years ago after seeing it in a luggage store in the Milwaukee airport. I haven't been disappointed since. It has logged miles from coast to coast and from Europe to the Caribbean. The warranty is surpassed by none. I know this sounds like a corny ad for the product, but it's true! Once when the handle became stuck and I thought it was broken, they sent me another handle which was easy to replace. The most awesome moment was just a couple of years ago when I notice the seam between the zipper and suitcase was frayed and was starting to come apart just a little.I contacted them, sent it to their return center and they sent me a BRAND NEW ONE. I couldn't believe it!Anyway, cost has prevented me from buying many more but I really don't need another size. My husband and I can use it when it is in its expanded mode. It holds a weeks worth of cloths if we use a hanging bag (traveling in car) and another small bag for shoes. We use a Victorinox tote (they don't have the exact one anymore) for shoes and it fits over the handle of the 22" mobilizer. I LOVE the red. The material is EXTREMELY rugged. It has gotten black marks on it from airport conveyor belts but they were very easy to get off even after several events. My sister borrowed mine and her luggage was "lost" at her destination BUT fast thinking, she inquired if the plane was going on to another destination. It was and the agent was able to get the guys to look for it and they found it. ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS RED! Agent said if had been black they wouldn't have been able to locate it so easily AND they remembered loading it ! We are buying a piece for our granddaughter for her graduation. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.Last thought: I was sick and tired of buying suitcases that tore up in some way or another after just a few trips! Check this one out. It is the biggest bang for your buck if don't want to keep replacing suitcases.

By Mike2001
My wife purchased a Victorinox Mobilizer 22 in Oct 2001, with what we though was a "lifetime" warranty. It was a great bag until the nylon fabric ripped at a seam during a recent vacation, making bag unusable. We sent it into the factory as warranty repair ($30 freight). They returned it as un-repairable, with note stating it was not warranty issue, but rather a normal wear and tear condition not covered by their "lifetime" warranty. (posted photo of fabric tear on Victorinox Facebook pages).I called customer service, talked with customer service manager. She tells me that I should be satisfied with the 10 years' service we received from the item, and that all things wear out over time! So I guess the high quality nylon fabric will wear down and tear over time, and that does not count as a material or manufacturing defect?Bottom line, I do NOT recommend paying top dollar for any luggage with a lifetime warranty, unless you can be sure the company will honor that warranty for as long as you own the luggage. Not just the first 5-10 years. We own 2 Victorinox pcs and 3 Briggs & Riley pcs. To be fair, I have not had opportunity to use Briggs & Riley "lifetime" warranty (because of their quality?). But given my recent customer non-satisfaction experience with Victorinox, I caution you to read the fine print on the "lifetime" warranty before spending hundreds of dollars on their products!

By Drennman
This is my second bag of this model, We liked the first one so much, we have bought a second one. The best type of recommendation! We find them very light so easy to get into the overhead bins but also very sturdy for those times when we check our luggage. The handle is very sturdy also (some manufactures now use ones that are more flimsy). I like the packable interior but seldom use the "suiter" insert. I find the suiter unwieldy and hard to use.I am replacing a much older and now very worn Hartman bag of the same size. The Hartman is heavier but had sightly more packable space. The Victorinox Mobiizer has a sleeker profile and not the top heavy one that caused my Hartman to want to tip over (frontwards on its top). The black is a classic color. The green is nice, dark enough not show dirt but different enough to pick it off the luggage carousel.
