Only on the 3rd recharge. One articale says it won't be up to full capacity until after the 5th charge. So far, so good. It definitely last longer that the original batteries. Time will tell if it was a good purchase.

I am very pleased with the 2400 mAH NiMH extended battery for Ryobi. The power and length of charge does appear to be equal to that of the far more expensive Ryobi Lithium batteries. I have had this battery for a few months now, and like it so well I contacted the seller to buy another.

I've owned a set of Ryobi power tools for about four years. The two lithium-ion batteries that came with the set have either died or are close to it. I haven't put a strain on them: they don't get daily use and I don't overload the tools (drill, saber saw, circular saw). A new battery from Ryobi costs $80-$90. I bought two of these NiMH batteries for about $10 more. The only difference I see in overall performance is that these appear to be more reliable. I've since learned that lithium-ion batteries are notoriously finicky. I am a retired teacher living on a pension, so I don't have money to throw away on something that doesn't give me the most for my dollar. I haven't given them much use yet, but I'll give them a good review based on limited experience. If I have a problem with them, I'll be sure to revise this review.
