It's often argued that using name brand, or high quality speaker wires can bring out the best performance from any high quality speaker system. While there is some merit to the idea of using high quality cables, it seems many companies have taken this idea far beyond it's logical limits and in so doing created a whole new snake oil industry. Bottom line, when it comes to speaker wire, if they're talking about special alloys, magical filaments or direction specific wires and charging tens, hundreds or even thousands of dollars per foot, chances are, they've probably crossed the line.

This speaker wire is an excellent choice when running stereo speakers for whole home audio. I'd much rather pull this through the wall than 2 separate wires. Of course you'll have to split it off somewhere to get to 2 individual speakers. I just wired this directly to volume controls and then 2 separate wires from there.As for quality, let's get real. All speaker wire is is bound copper at different thickness. As long as your runs are under 100 ft 16 gauge is fine. This wire is oxygen free to keep up with building regulations inside the wall, which personally I think is a must.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this wire again.The colors of the wire didn't match the picture. But as long as you get the negatives and positives right you can't go wrong. The colors I got were red, black, white and kind of a yellow color.

I bought one roll of these at first, ran out of it (wired my entire house, i.e. all bedrooms, hallway, master bathroom, patio, kitchen, etc) and ordered one more. It's very very good quality wire. The sound in my speakers is great. Some of the speakers are about 50-60 feet away from the amplifier, others are about 10 feet away, and they all sound just as good. No quality lost after 50 feet of wire. Great product!

This cable is great for running a wired system outside. Product is easy to work with and enables great sound from my outdoor speakers. While the I didn't need the full 250ft, it was still less expensive to complete my job with pleanty of cable to spare than other products at twice the price.
