The item appears to be a repack. basically the seller buys all the items in bulk and kits it together. They still get 5 starts because it is a reasonable deal. Anything kwikset style home locks, this kit will work just fine with. I just matched all my generic off brands and brinks locks with this kit.The tools appear to be made with a grade 5? (hardened steel, which is good) material and i didnt have ANY problems with them. they worked flawlessly.Check out youtube to see how these tools should be used before doing it! This kit wont come with step by step instructions but youtube can provide all of that.

Great set for the money......I rekey foreclosures and have made alot of money using this kit.....Once you get the hang of what you are doing its easy....only problem I have found is when you need a #7 pin you have to stack some of the pins.....But its all good....THANKS!!!!

Not a bad value, nice set of springs and pins included, however, the longest cylinder pins are inadequate for some deep cut keys; they come up short, need a set of longer pins in the kit. Had to make my on pins for the longest pins out of 1/8" diameter brass rods found at Home depot. Or if you want to re-key a lock find the keys with the shallowest cuts.
