Listen closly !,,,,if you want a very well built tail piece that will work flawlessly,,,and you have the abillity at home to doalittle fabrocating . You can put this awsome work of Art on a 1970 D'Agostino Flying V ! It might work as is,in other applications.But I needed a narrower tail piece than the " improvised " Fender tellicaster tail piece that I baught it with.You see,,a Buddy fetched this Guitar out of a dumpster !,,,yup. broken,tattered,,,,and sad. "Like alot of us".:>(With expert craftsmenship Big Billy massausaged this poor Guitar back to ,,,One of the HOTEST finest GuitarsI have ever seen.And Now,,,,It actually has E-strings that don't hang dangerously close to the edges.It worked well befor,But it certanly CRANKS NOW ! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :>) a drill press,Rattailed file,and tool shop expierance,, hellpfull.All this work was nessary to alighn the six holes in the Body of the D'Agostino Flying V ( as they are very narrow ) tothe wider stance of the HipShot tail piece.ALSO befor you remove your existing tail piece { measure } the distance from the nutat the top,,,to the saddle where the string leaves the tail piece,and is suspended . Mine was 25" that will be criticle to re-ajustingthe intuenation later using a guitar tuner. I hope this helps you. :>)
