I chose this watch because it the watchface had the closest resemblance to my previous Skagen watch, which I lost. I'm pleased with the watchface, but wish the band were thinner and less shiny. I removed two links, which has made it a bit tight, but I oould re-install one link. All in all, I'm satisfied, especially if the watch holds up.

I've been wearing Skagen watches exclusively forever, it seems. I buy new ones not because they break, but because I get tired of the old ones. I purchased this after combing through selections on Amazon for a larger case in both gold and silver w/ "diamonds" to go w/ my rings. I am very happy w/ the size and overall look of watch, but wished it had a mesh band and didn't have a date, or one that I could read easily. It does have a nice catch and doesn't break my nails as they did years ago. Worth $5.00 to have one link removed at the jewelers. The low purchase price made up for my concerns. It's a nice watch for an older, bigger person who wants some low-key bling, w/out being flashy. Thank you Skagen and Amazon.
