5Perfect, no complaints.
By Drew
These headphones took a week less to arrive in Australia than estimated, which was obviously pretty awesome. First up, I will say that the build quality is bomb proof. Nothing rattles when you shake them, and all the components are solid and well made. The Appearance is awesome, with a glossy black finish and dark silver accents and there is branding all over them (logos and skullcandy writing, which makes it look cool). The sound quality on these is amazing, with a lot of bass as I hoped, but by no means is it overpowering, its just there as an extra. Everything else about the sound is perfect, and I don't know what else to say about it. To compare it to Beats Studio (which I had previously), It is similar but stronger and deeper bass. The cable (with a Mic3 Remote) works perfectly with my iPod Touch, as you would expect, with volume up, down and a pause button which can also navigate songs. There is also a coiled cable, but I haven't used that. The case is like a burger, with a solid top and bottom and a faux leather centre. Also the mute button feature is really useful, and the ear cup rotation to switch the channel to mono is occasionally helpful. To give a brief comparison to Beats Studio (which I returned as they leak too much plus they rattle and creak loudly), the sound is better on the Skullcandy Mixmaster, the build is better on these, (the only minus in the accessories is no plane adaptor, but I already had one) and I prefer the style and finish. If you are tossing up between the two, you should definitely buy these. The beats just aren't good enough for the price and the build quality is terrible for Monster Cable's $300 asking price. To finish up, these are perfect and I strongly recommend them to everyone.

2Great headphone but cheap plastic headband
By Rounin
THe Skullcandy Mix Master is a $300 headphone with extraordinary sound quality and design. Love the DJ feature and muting capability this headphone has. In addition, the daisy chaining of audio (similar to Dr Dre) is wonderful. However, my biggest complain is the quality of the headband. The headband is made of very fragile plastic and would crack through normal wear. I had my first pair of MM for less than a month when the headband cracked (double hair-line cracks.) I had to send it in for exchange. Now, one good thing about Skullcandy is their lifetime warranty on this headphone. I had the headphone replace without question - just had to pay the $20 shipping to their RMA department. All good right ... well I had my replacement pair for approximately 1.5 months before the headband of the replacement cracked. This time I was extremely careful with care and use of this pair. Anyway, today I send it back for replacement again. So now I'm out $40 on top of the $300 I shelled out for this headphone. If I do my math right, I'll be spending close to $120 by the end of the year - returning for RMA every other month. I think I'll sell my replacement pair when it comes back in and cut my lost.So is this headphone worth it? Hell NO! It's a great sound and design, but if decide to keep it expect to spend ~$120 annually. Unless you want a pair of MM that cracked along the top (headband).

5Great Pair of Headphones
By A. Peterson
Can't go wrong with these. Great sound, great feel. Nice and comfortable. These headphones are sturdy, but are beginning to crack at the head ban. . luckily SkullCandy has a life time warranty :)
