These are beautiful soft and elegant looking sheets and pillowcases. The size is very good and a little larger than the top surface area of a Cal King full motion bed so you have something to tuck in on all sides. The two sheets are sewn together from corner pocket to corner pocket and the corner pockets have pockets in which you can insert 1/2" diameter plastic poles made from typical PVC plumbing pipe. This is the pole size commonly included with waterbed sheets so, unless you have never had sheets with poles before, you are certain to already have the poles. If not, you'll want (and this is optional as I'm sure the pockets will hold the sheet to the matress without poles) to get four poles about 10" or 12" long to perform this duty. I've always liked using the poles as they secure the bottom sheet in place very well. If I want a different color I will definetly look for this style again.

The material is very thin, I don't expect them to last long.I have 300 thread count sheets that are far better.

Three stars for two reasons. First and foremost, I think the sheets were the wrong size. They came in a clear plastic package without any labels as to size of the sheets. I (stupidly) laundered the sheets before trying them on the bed - so they are mine. It took my husband and I 10 minutes to get the bottom sheet on the matress, we had to "pop" the elastic. We've had this bed for 18+ years and have always ordered king size and had zero problems. Secondly, these sheets were not striped as advertized - it's not big deal but worth noting. On the plus side, the sheets are good quality and not at all scratchy - they laundered well.
