My kenmore Elite washer started making a horrible rattle. After taking covers off I determined that my old pump was worn out. It had lasted over 2500 loads so I can't complain. Sears wanted $130 for a new pump and filter assembly. I didn't need the filter-just the pump. I used the sears part number to find this pump motor. $55 sounded alot better.What was even better was the speed of shipping. I paid around $6 for standard shipping. It left Florida on Friday and I had it by lunch Monday in Washington State. I wish all my orders shipped that fast!The part had a slightly different outer housing but the impeller and mounting was identical. I honestly think the new part feels more solid than the old one. After installation I ran a load of laundry and the machine runs great and the pump is nice and quiet.Thanks for saving me some $.

This is the only pump i found that doesn't make you buy the clean out assemble as well. The shaft broke in the pump in my mothers washer right after the warranty ran out I couldn't believe that Kenmore tries to make you by a piece for a extra 70 to 100 dollars that doesn't go bad to get a replacement pump. It's a easy change took 20 min half of that was me get up and down on the floor. The case of the motor housing was a little different but it bolts right up and works as it should.

this part shipped before I expected, arrived sooner than promised and installed in minutes. You do not need the whole assembly, just the electric pump motor. The washing machine is back up and running and most importantly, my wife and three daughters are happy.
