I set these up at our church where I'm one of the drummers. Headphones are a must as the sound is reflected right back at you. We are finally able to get mic'ed up for recording, streaming, etc. So this shield and a soon to be sound-absorbing surround will give much more audio control. Not everyone likes being in a 'cage', but the drums sound so much cleaner already.
