I have to say first, that I have not yet ridden with it on, but did walk around my place and it felt good. I was lucky enough to get this shoe used-like new, for less than $20. With that being said, I was worried as there aren't many reviews of it anywhere on the web. I can say that I like the way the shoe looks, the clasp system is quite unique, and once you figure it out, it seems easy and durable. Only time will tell how durable it truly is. I plan on going biking this weekend and will update this as to how it feels while riding, and how durable it is.Even if it doesn't last forever, at $20 I feel it a strong safe purchase.

I had first bought the size 47 in euro which is I thinkis a 12 & 1\2 in u.s,..too small, I wear size 13-14,..so I bought the 49 which I believe is a 13 12\5, a little better but was a bit snugg.One of the really kool thing is the crank strap on the side which you use to tighten the shoes.

These are nice, well made shoes. the sole is pretty stiff and they are comfy. I have a narrow foot w a higher arch. You can't beat the price. You could easily pay twice as much for a comparable shoe. They do run a tiny bit short in length. I wear a U.S. 11 and bought the EU 45 and they could use a bit more length. Not uncomfortable though. I also like that they have a basic look. A lot of mtn bike shoes i tried on at cycle shops were way too flashy looking. White or silver/chrome looking, not what I'm looking for to trail ride or wear anywhere.I had a problem with the ratchet strap release after a few months of use. One of them broke after a wipe out. When I emailed serfas they said there was a problem with the release button that came with my shoes and they sent me new ratchet buckles and straps free. Great customer service. I had the new parts in 2 or 3 days after contact. New straps have a different release set up.
