I had my doubts when I first saw the Cuddle Sleeper right out of the shipping box. My cat was used to sleeping on top of my car in the garage or, in the winter, in his bed, which was about 1.5 feet high. At first, he didn't want anything to do with the new bed, but once I put his stuffed animal in it and sprinkled some organic catnip in the center, I found him sleeping in it the next morning. Now, he sleeps in the bed every night and I actually have to wake him up in the morning. I don't think he likes the hood, it's too low for him. But I'll try it again in the winter.Only thing about this bed I would criticize is that it doesn't have enough weight to keep it from sliding around. We fixed that by attaching it to the edge of an old table with bicycle ties.

This is a wonderful bed. I was looking for a bed with a hood on it for our small dog. She sleeps with us and likes to burry under the covers, but by her doing this makes us hot - well because even though she is small she produces heat like a furnace. This little bed is the perfect fit for her. She hops right in it at night, I cover her up, and she stays in it all night. Other beds for dogs just didn't seem like they would keep her warm, plus some were way expensive. And this isn't the only product we own by K&H. We have plenty of window seats for our cats, and they love them. Thanks K&H for a great product.

My cat loves beds, especially with faux suede/fur-type covers. (For some reason he is not a fan of the sheepskin covers.) The pillow is nice and thick and it washes well (a case of breakfast devoured too fast).As usual with new bed, I can barely get it down before he's all over it. He was curious about the hood for a while. He eventually settled in with continued investigation of the hood. A few hours later I found him outside the bed and he refused to get back in - until I removed the hood. All has been well since.My cat is about 9 pounds, long and thin. This bed is a little larger than the ideal size for him. Just the right size for him is the K&H Cuddle Sleeper Pet Bed, Oval, Small 14-Inch by 18-Inch, Mocha Paw Bone Print This one is probably a "medium" compared to that one.
