Like several other buyers of this product, who reviewed it on other forums, I fully concur that there should be at least one more heat setting. The operating manual warns not to leave the setting on High for a long period of time without specifying how long in minutes or hours. I always start with the High setting initially to jump start the heating process; then switch to the only other setting after the unit heats up. If the manufacturer added a third setting like Medium, this product would be perfect. For those complaining about the product not providing enough warmth, put a towel or any covering around your ankles with your feet inside the pillow cover and this will help retain the heat in the foot warmer. This products does what it's supposed to, although it's a bit pricey for what I paid [$99].
