I've had these (Keen Arroyo Pedal shoes) for about 3 months now, have worn about 4 days/week, & am very pleased. Very comfortable, & stiffness of soles seems to be a nice balance (rigid enough, but some flexibility for comfortable walking). Although they came with regular laces, Keen offered to send out special stretch (elastic-like) laces as well, which I prefer (although the stock ones are fine, too). This is my first pair of cycling shoes, & - in my search - quickly discovered that if you have wide feet and want reasonably priced (< $130) cycling shoes, there are very few good options. These shoes really stood out for the combination of style, comfort, flexibility, & quality of materials. You can also definitely wear these shoes off of the bike - very comfortable, & cleats are pretty recessed. I have an elliptical (Precor) and a bike trainer (Kurt Kinetic) in my house, & wear these shoes on both (i.e., I may spend 45 minutes on bike, followed by 30 minutes on elliptical). Due to design of shoes, you have a lot of flexibility in how loose (or tight) of a fit you'd like. As others have suggested, quality of materials is first rate, as is (so far, from all I can tell) the quality of the company (Keen). My impression is that these shoes will last. I highly recommend.

Sandals fit just like regular keen sandals, wonderful. Like the extra width compared to my keen commuter sandals. Much better feel through the toe box.
