I took a chance and ordered the size 13( because it was on sale) . My shoe size is a 11.5 or 12 depending. These boots fit perfect. I could not go smaller and have room for thin gortex socks if needed. Upon inspection they look very sturdy and are easy to get on and off. I will try to remember to review again once I have worn them on the water. I would give five stats but with out actually wearing them on the water I had to hold back one at this time.

these boots are comfortable on my feet and fit in a kayak perfectly. they grip well when carrying my kayak from the river take out, up steep slippery banks and through the woods to the car.

When i ordered this boot I was worried that it would not be warm enough to wear in snow and would be much better suited for warmer wet climates. I could not have been more wrong, this boot is not only very water resistant, it is also extremely warm. I was also worried about the sole of the shoe, in a video i saw on another website, the sole looked very flimsy. This is not the case however, the sole is both think and well padded for high comfort.Cons - THe only con that I can think of is that it is a bit of a hassel to put the boot on and remove it because of all the Velcro... though i feel as if it would take the same amount of time to remove a laced up boot.Overall I truly love this boot and hope that it holds up to the test of time.
