Son likes this helmet. he has been catching since he was 8 and now plays in high school. this helmet feels lighter even though its bigger then the last helmet. Has the new rubber like material on the outside which he likes. Is a different shape then other helmets but I am sure that is for better protection. He can talk easily in and it has cool dri padding which will help in the hotter weather.for the price of what my local sports shops were selling lesser helmets I bought him the best helmet easton makes on amazon.

Nice lightweight Helmet! Fits well, comfortable, adjustable! I use it for pitching in Slowpitch, so I did cut out part of the cage to increase the vision, but still plenty of protection for a softball! Overall, great product and arrived earlier than expected.
