I own four Denis Wick mouthpieces. They are all wonderful: comfortable on the chops, easy to play. I get a huge sound out of my horn with the DW2 Silver Classic. The Classic Series, as opposed to the Denis Wick Heritage series, is the one that also has mouthpieces in narrow as well as standard necks. The 2, 3, 4, and 5, for example, are for narrow neck (shank) mouthpieces, intended to fit into narrow leadpipes, like what you'd might find on a vintage instrument. The modern equivalents would be 2L, 3L, 4L, and 5L (the L standing for large--which is really the normal size these days).The Heritage series are fine mouthpieces also, but they don't come with narrow shanks, so if you need something that fits into a narrow leadpipe, make sure you buy from the Classic series.
