Won't leave home for a makeup job without this chair! It's extremely sturdy and great quality. Being able to carry it was my main concern before buying it, but I still purchased for the other great features. Pictures do not show it but there are carrying handles on the seat when the chair is collapsed. So all my needs have been met with this chair. Very happy I finally bought it!

There are so may things that a makeup artist needs such as a good foundation base to mix shades for any complexion, various brushes/utensils and so much more. But these things can be improvised and you can still achieve a flawless face. But one thing you don't want to skip out on is a heavy duty makeup artist/director's chair. This chair is a dream. It's definitely heavy duty and you would think that it would be extremely heavy but it is so lightweight! Just be sure to clean out your trunk when you pack this chair up to go so that you have the space. Also, I'm 5 foot 5 and this chair is very comfortable for me to work on my clients' faces. But if you're rather short, it might be a little difficult for you to maneuver around your client's face as it has a little bit of a bulk to it. Otherwise, excellent product!
