Bought this car handle device for husband with weak muscles in both upper legs which gives him problems lifting his legs, walking and balance issues. This device is very well made and has added safety features i.e. knife to cut away seat belt and handle to shatter auto glass in case of water submerge etc. Husband read the clear instructions and put this item to use immediately. It is stored in the front console. He uses it to lift himself out of the car. The handle fits easily into the car door bracket; the handle is padded and resists slippage; it is strong enough to support 300lbs; and the device/handle fits outward for easy access. It is taking some time to find his comfort zone as to the exit positioning out of the car and using the handle device at the same time. In otherwords a bit cumbersome at first but he is getting the hang of the device and HIGHLY recommends it for anyone. It is a great device to have in anyone's car just for the the safety features alone.
