My wife purchased this robe instead of the Turkish one for the color variety. She was reluctant to buy because there were no other reviews yet (someone has to try it first). She said it was not as thick as the Turkish one (but that made it feel softer and more feminine to touch). The plus as I said was the color. She washed it before wearing it (along with liquid softener) to wash out any left over loops or fuzz that they leave on skin (normal). She is very satisfied with it.
