Remodeling the kitchen I wanted a quality pull out faucet. I shopped around but what was recommended was going to cost me $400-$600 for a faucet. Thought that was crazy. I purchased a Kraus sink that was priced right.. My plumber couldn't believe what I paid for the sink because the quality was fantastic. So I took a chance with one of their faucets. I might as well take a chance. I could always return it if I wanted too. The name sounds either German or Swiss made but when I received the faucet it stated made in China. I was not a happy person because I do my best NOT to purchase anything made in China. Anywhere else but not China! I always look and if it states that its made in China I usually put it back on the shelf. This time I kept it because it looked and felt like a high quality unit. My plumber agreed and couldn't believe how heavy duty this faucet is. So far its too soon to speak about reliability. I will add to the review again after so many months but being made in China .. I will not hold my breath. I'm still giving it 4 stars because the quality seems to be great but time will tell.

Put this in about 2 weeks ago with new countertop, through a 1-hole pattern. After many reviews and searching, we took a shot on this unit for it's all-stainless construction. Absolutely love the looks and operation. This replaced a 3-hole Moen that still worked fine, but was on an older corner-sink set-up .. the gooseneck is about an inch in diameter, which is probably double the old faucets' dia. Very sturdy mounted into our new quartz tops, the pull-down is so snug there's a little figeting/wiggling to set it back in, but it's not 'poor fit' problem, just 'tight fit' and comforting to know it seems it will stay that way with a nice positive 'lock-in' snap when it's there. This has a spring-loaded retraction, which aids in setting it back in without whipping it back, so you're in control when returning the pull-down to its dock. Only issue was minor difficulty in reaching into the space behind the sink to cinch-up the connecting hoses, which is no fault of Kraus, as we see almost all makes of this style have similar connections under-sink. Fabulous faucet.
