4Would buy another
By zc
I bought the flashlight and weapon mount yesterday and first impressions are good. The weapon mount was $26 at a local store marked down from $57. I would not buy the flashlight if the weapon mount was more than $30, there are other options that cost less.If you don't plan on mounting it I wouldn't hesitate to buy.

4Great Light - Sadly not for tactical use
By LFOD
I did my homework and for my quality/pricepoint decided to go with this light.Don't get me wrong this light is AWESOME.The problem is the 2 protrusions on the barrel that the belt clip secures to.I called the manufacturer prior to purchase to make sure the barrel diameter was 1.00" as it only specified the bezel at 1.25"The manufacturer verified that the diameter of the barrel on the light was indeed 1.00"This is important as I was planning on attaching this to my Rem 870 in a standard 1.00" mount. The protrusions prevent you from mounting this light. The protrusions are so far back on the barrel that you can not mount it prior to the protrusions as there is not amplespace on the barrel and you will be clamping down the cap.Maybe they are selling a proprietary picatinny mount for this (which would also suck, i hate proprietary)I do not believe you can use this light in a 1.00" mount. In summation - Great Light! Not for tactical mount use. Sadly I will be returning this otherwise fantastic torch.***UPDATE***OK so after alot of searching I found that Inforce does have an proprietary rail for their lights (i knew those slots in the barrel were going to be for some proprietary BS.)The best price I have found is about $60 (if you can find it). Let me get this straight.... I just bought a $110 light and now I have to spend another $60 just to attach it to my firearm? Now that being said, if this mystery mount was mentioned in ANY of the marketing material or on any of the distributor/seller websites then I would have taken that into consideration. It was not mentioned on the manufacturer website and as far as I can tell the optional mount is not even on their website at all.The fact they do not tell you 'YOU WILL NEED A PROPRIETARY MOUNT. IT COSTS ALOT. SORRY' .......THAT IS TOTAL CRAP!So my review to this point is GREAT light, deceptive company. It just harbors ill will.Too bad. I really wanted to like this light (and I do).So instead of dealing with all the time, cost and BS to replace it....a little dremmel action and they can take their $60.00 bucks and shove it up their ...........Uh insert madlib here.........**** UPDATE ****I can't take it. It has to go back. The good thing though is I have now found JetStream lights.*** Update ****Optics Planet is making me pay to send it back. Wrong info from them and manufacturer and I get to pay.Have a big optics budget coming up and they will not be seeing a penny of it.

5The best around
By KevinB
I also own a Streamlight PT 2L and a Surefire 6P. This one blows them both away. The Streamlight is smaller if you're looking for the most compact. As far as brightness the Inforce takes the cake. Disseminates heat much better than the Streamlight. Feels sturdy enough although I haven't thrown it around to test it yet. The title does say 9-volt, thats a little misleading. This is the Inforce 9VX. It takes 3 CR123A batteries. It doesn't come with a case but fits perfectly in my Surefire 6P holder on my duty belt. Definitely worth the money.A little more detailed info about the flashlight; The 300-lumen INFORCE 9vx LED Flashlight balances penetrating brightness with super usability under varying field conditions. The ultimate in multi-functionality, the 9vx provides the ability to customize the light to your preferences by reversing the high/low power setting to low/high, or disabling the strobe, if desired, and includes momentary and lockout features. Its vented fiber composite body reduces heat buildup, keeping the light cool for the duration of the task at hand. MIL-STD-810F certified.A simple, reliable, intuitive multifunciton tailcapswitch operates programs and modes.Constant and Momentary High, Low and StrobeReversible High/Low to Low/High CapabilityStrobe Disable OptionLockoutProduct Features:High-efficiency emitters provide longer run time and are virtually immune to failure.Precision optics provide focused hot spot and balanced peripheral light.Scalloped head designed to let light spill out to indicate if the light is on when in standing position.Fiber composite body is ultralight and durable.Tailcap switch activation button allows easy, single-hand operation.Belt clip with built-in lanyard hole accepts 550 cord.Lithium powered for maximum performance and longer battery life.
