The Insight CTS is a powerful, full-featured in-cab, state of the art ,multi-gauge display that works on nearly any 1996 or newer OBDII-enabled vehicle. The edge insight is an outstanding tool that I wish I had purchased a long time ago. While I already have a full set of analog gauges from ISSPRO in my truck, the insight adds valuable information that I could not get with a traditional gauge setup. The insight adds valuable information such as gear and torque converter lock status, instant mpg and average mpg (which is not available on an 02 GMC Sierra) and to read and clear codes; but where it really comes in handy are the ability to read things such as desired fuel rail pressure and injector balance rates, two increasingly useful troubleshooting tools if you are having engine issues. It also has the ability to connect a backup camera, which its smaller cousin the CS does not. I haven't gotten to install one in my truck yet, but its defiantly going to be coming in the next few months. Also, the device is update able over the internet which is nice, that process was easy, their software is literally plug and play, you plug in the device and it does the rest, all you have to do is register for an account using the fusion software included on the disk. Then then send you email updates when new versions are available, and you simply plug it in and it updates. (takes around 10-15 minutes).Also a not for the previous reviewer who had issues, while it is somewhat compatible for most vehicles (1996 and newer OBDII compatible), this product was primarily designed for the truck market and specifically the diesel truck market at that, so many of the features are geared to those of us using it on dodge, ford or GMC/Chevy trucks.

Within an hour of receiving my Edge Insight CTS I had it installed in my truck (2007 Chev Silverado 2500HD with 6.6L LMM diesel) with all my preferred parameters. I got the Insight in order to monitor certain engine functions -- engine coolant temperature, transmission fluid temperature, gear, RPMs, and fuel level (I have a Titan 52 gal. fuel tank) -- while towing my trailer, especially in the mountains. I found the Insight performs exactly as advertised. Prior to placing my order I had read everything about the Edge Insight on the Edge Products website including the user manual and had extensively read owner reviews. There were no surprises nor disappointments. Updating the software was very easy. I just followed the directions in the user manual. The included Akron suction mount is very solid and attaches firmly and securely. Since I prefer dash mounts I may either look at a ProClip solution to mount it on the left AC grill or a self adhesive disc to attach to the dashboard surface. But for now the window mount works well. Today, for the first time, when I came out of a store, I started up my truck and immediately took off. I noticed that one digital and one analog dial did not read. I think that I might have taken off before the Insight had fully booted up. Anyway, the next time I started up all the dials read correctly. I highly recommend the 4.3" touchscreen CTS especially if one is used to a touchscreen phone or tablet. I like the option of attaching accessories to my Insight CTS such as a backup camera and an EGT probe in the future. Amazon's service on my order was outstanding. I placed my order on May 31st (with free shipping) and had my Edge Insight CTS on June 5th.Edited 6/12/2012: The problem with my Insight referenced above persisted and whenever I unlocked or locked my truck the Insight would initialize. Today I called Edge tech support and they were extremely helpful and recognized the issue immediately. They sent me a firmware update with a fix for the problem and now my Insight operates as expected. I can't recommend Edge products enough. I'm very satisfied and pleased with my Edge Insight.

This is a great product for keeping an eye on EGT's, Boost pres, MPH, etc. My fav thing about the CTS is the mileage coach. I have an 08 Duramax with EFI Live, S&B Intake, and 4 inch exhaust. Messing around with the mileage coach i found that driving in town in tow/haul mode at certain speeds i get better fuel mileage, same on the highway. In this case i have been averageing 23 mpg, where as before with a stock truck only 13 mpg. Just the intake, exhaust, and chip i went from 13 to 17-18, and then adding the CTS to monitor every thing i want and playing around with the mileage coach to 23 mpg. This is a great product for the price you pay.
