I wanted a deflector that properly followed the contours of my F150 instead of muddling the lines trying to be "sleek". It came down to this one or the Weathertech item, but I noticed that that one also rides in front of the grill a bit. You have to have a strong will to pry open the grill channel and install the three clips along your hood line, but it is worth it after you see the finished installation. Just hold your breath and go for it, the plastic tape guards are thick enough to protect your paint. This is the one deflector that actually separates your hood from your grill and looks like it was truly custom made for the new truck style.

Well product works well, directions were not very clear. The product came broken, it had a crack in it, but i decided it was still usable so i installed it.
