5truly awesome
By Eddie
I have the best stuff on the market, the curado 50/ 51 E is my favorite reel. Casts and retrieves magically. Light and small, say goodbye to heavy bulky baitcasters. Put this on a crucial rod and enjoy yourself.

5Great reel
By TheBanshee
I got the 51E as my first baitcast reel and it performs amazingly. Its well built, nothing about it feels cheap at all, its very easy to use and works perfectly. It looks nice, sits low on the rod and fits easily in your palm, I couldnt have asked for a better one.I chose the 50 series for the lightness of it and because I dont think I'd ever need 100+ yards of line for one fish, at least for the fishing I'm doing. (mostly bass from my kayak in lakes and rivers) my set up including my rod (6'6" M St. Croix Legend Tournament) weighs just over 10 ounces so I can cast all day without getting tired. Even after being that light this reel handles fish like my heavier setups. It gives you supreme confidence when fighting a big one.Buy it, you'll love it.

Shimano Currado E series reels are great. Glad I was able to find this 50E new. Might be the last one out there.
