I was sent home with a cryo cuff system for my ankle when I had ligament repair surgery, and this system was a lifesaver for 8+ weeks post-op! We put crushed ice from one of the local fast food restaurants that sells bags of ice in the cooler, and it would stay frozen all night and most of the next day. The ladies who came by to help me when my husband was gone to work never had to change the ice-all they had to do was drain the aircast into the cooler and refill. We would do this a few times in a row to cool the water, but it was a great system. Saving it for the future...I'm accident prone. ;)
