Deni's Vertical Rotisserie is perfect for healthy cooking indoors. The rotisserie heats up fast, cooks quickly and most important, cleanup is a breeze. The rotisserie seals in juices and drains unhealthy fat from food as it cooks. Cook roasts, chicken, turkey, fish, or kebabs. The rotisserie has a center heater so everything you cook will have a crispy outside with a juicy interior. The rotisserie is energy efficient and quiet. Cooks food 20% faster than a conventional oven, but uses almost half the energy. Center heating element allows for faster cooking, and roasts from inside -out and outside-in for juicy tender foods. Can hold up to a 5-lb chicken or an 8-lb roast. Glass lid and front allow you to monitor food while cooking. With so much versatility, you won't be disappointed.

Since receiving this product I have made al pastor and rotisserie chicken. Here's my rundown:(+)* Fits 4.5lb whole chickens* Cooks quicker than conventional ovens* Fat cooks off into drip pan* Top loading; so no moving parts.* Included metal skewers* Poultry vs Meat setting* Center heating coil...helps cook quicker from inside. Separate on/off button for this.* 4 total coils: Center and 3 coils that surround oven. On low setting, each of the 3 external coils turns on for ~30 seconds and then moves to the next coil. On high setting, 2 of 3 coils turn on and rotate every ~30 seconds or so. So instead of the meat on a skewer that rotates around 1 coil, you have stationary meat in the middle and the external coils turn on/off in rotation* All parts are washable* Meat comes out fantastic (with use of meat thermometer)* High setting provides a great crust on meat (but you need to monitor this closely to prevent charring)(-)* Top of the oven seems to cook faster than the bottom* ONLY High/Low settings; no actual temperature to set it to...meat thermometer will be super useful. Beware!!! High setting with char your meat very quickly if you're not watching it.* Timer only goes up to 99 minutes; no clock and no ability to set it to start at a later time* Center coil is not removable...so anything you put in there will have a center coil poked through it (although you don't have to turn the coil on)

I would given this cooker a better rating if I did not have to modify the top lifting hook, which is only pressed on to the main shaft . I had to drill a hole and insert a pin to keep it in place. Nothing more upsetting than see your cooked bird droping to the floor and getting hot fat everywere, luckey I spoted the problem before that happen. As for cooking the Bird I must say its the best out of two other Rotisserie I have. For a fall off the bone delight this one is so the best design for even cookinging.Cleanup about the same as all the other way to many nooks and crany to clean. design recommdaton1. one pice bird tower2. less grid work on the tower base (would make it easyer to clean].3. the name is mis leading nothing moves

Received this item and was disappointed no manual or instructions of any kind was in box. No warranty either. When I inquired about a manual, was told to download it off internet. 31 pages!!! I refused. When the makeshift, carelessly cut, & stapled 'manual' finally arrived and I was able to use it, the ease of clean-up & use is as advertised.
