The DC X Bishoujo Collection combines DC's superheroines and villains with traditional Japanese stylings. The classic and best known Batgirl first appeared in 1967, the alter ego of Gotham City police commissioner's daughter Barbara Gordon. Brilliant and courageous, Batgirl helped defend the good citizens of Gotham City alongside her mentor Batman. Barbara comes to you now in the Japanese bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on original character art by world famous illustrator Shunya Yamashita. A fantastic beginning to the DC X Bishoujo line, Batgirl stops bad guys in their tracks with her sexy costume and alluring pose. Every element of her classic gray, blue, and gold bodysuit has been recreated, from her tall boots to her bat-symbol, utility belt, gloves, cape, and cowl. Barbara stands with one foot resting on a gargoyle, accentuating her long legs, while she slyly spins her cape in front of her. Batgirl's long flowing red hair is a striking contrast to her dark blue cape, especially as they both frame her beautiful Bishoujo-styled face. Sculpted by Atelier Bamboo, Batgirl is constructed of high-quality pvc plastic and stands approximately 9 " tall (in an increased 1/7 scale for DC X Bishoujo statues) with the exclusive Gotham City gargoyle base. I ordered Batgirl and Wonder woman from kotobukiya together and i can tell you this... If superwomen are your thing, look no further! Fantastic detailing, the paint job makes this statue stand out in any corner of your room and at this price, I really don't think that you could do much better. If you are looking for an image that has attitude, style, looks and perfect symmetry all rolled into one.. this is itQuestionable to qualify as a great Batgirl fan before this.. am now!

This is perfect. Not a single flaw, it looks better than the picture. I like it more than figures costing almost 4 times more. Buy it!

First in the line of DC Bishoujo statues from Kotobukiya is Batgirl. And she looks wonderful! The paint application is perfect with no bleeding, the metallic gold stands out, and the color choice is bold and eye catching. The pose is also fun and fits Batgirl pretty well. There is something to note, if you collect Marvel Bishoujo as well. Batgirl is not in scale with the Marvel girls. She is bigger. She towers over the Marvel Rogue by over an inch. Which is kind of disappointing as I would like to display them together. Other than that, she's perfect!
