First of all - I was surprised of the time of delivery from when purchased. Confetti??...aaahhh, but if that's what you people know as confetti; bah-humbug.The pieces produced were satisfactorily small - at least to me, anyway. (not confetti asI know it) Compact for home use and just the size for use with supermarket plastic bags - noneed to spend your money purchasing bags for your shredder. Overall view: I thinkit was worth my money, since I don't shred a lot nor on a daily basis. I haven'ttried a credit card nor a c/d so can't comment on those. One drawback is that it was:MADE IN CHINA.

This is a wonderful little shredder. I got it for my parents and they love it. It is a bit noisy but works like a champ. If you run it too long it automatically shuts down and won't restart until the motor is cool.

I order a Royal Cofetti Cut Shredder # SC80MX ... I received the product... but it was a Cross Cut Shredder with the same # SC80MX on the shredder itself.. I also found it diffulcult to place the shredder on the basket itself and there is not enough space between the blades and basket .. I did cut myself.. as far as shredding.. it's ok for a cross cut but.........I'm sending it back..
