Installed this on my 09 F150 3 years ago, installation was simple.The kit comes with everything you need, except the wrenches.Once installed it really is handy, these trucks nowadays are high enough it is difficult to climb up into the bed...or I'm older and not as limber as before, in any case sure does make it easy to climb into the bed of the truck. When out of use it tucks neatly away. Go to the manuf. website and watch the video, no deception there, works as advertised.For reaching into the bed from the side I have the OEM FORD side steps, they are fine but when they get all gunked with salt, sand and mud they must be coerced into operation. In contrast AMP RESEARCH 75302-01A BED STEP- 06-11 FORD F150 functions as designed all the time.
