After trying numerous holistic products for my dog's allergies which did not work I came upon this product. I was very hopeful about this product as my wife is a big believer in TCM and can attest to its effectiveness without the use of pharmaceuticals. Also I am familiar with the Herbsmith name and read a very informative article posted online by a herbsmith veterinarian about allergies in dogs,yin and yan,heating and cooling foods so I was very hopeful about this product. I have been using this product for some time now and to my dismay this product has not given my poor dog any relief whatsoever. When I found and ordered this product I told a co worker of mine who has a dog with allergies and he ordered his around the same time. He too found this product to be worthless and had to resort back to prednisone.

I have two male, yellow labrador retrievers, ages 5 and 4. My 4 yr. old dog has suffered from environmental allergies since age 1. Various vet visits periodically throughout the year with infections in his feet. Due from itchy skin and him licky his feet. He develops blisters in between his toes and then requires steroids and antibiotics to get over it. He has been on various antihistimines such as Benedryl, Claritin, Zyrtec, and Allegra. All of the meds help for awhile but never gets to the root of the problem. We have tried all kinds of various natural foods, raw diet, different meds, medicated shampoos & sprays. Like I said nothing cures it... just masks the problem a little bit until he gets another infection! So after trying everything, I was recommended this product. I am HAPPY to say after approx. 3 1/2 weeks taking 2 doses a day of the Herbsmith Allerqi he is no longer licking and itching. He also used to be hot to touch and panting at night. Almost like he had a fever but didn't. Since being on Allerqi he no longer is hot to touch! I hope he continues to improve and improve the longer he is on this product! My Dog has had an amazing turn around so far!

We were having to take our dog to the vet for steroid injections and giving Benedryl daily. With only one dose per day, in 2 weeks, the eyes and skin have cleared up. Two months later, the itchy stinky skin allergy is gone! Happy pups!
