After one month of several hours use most days product is holding up well. The case gets fairly warm to the touch but that is pretty normal for power adapters of this size. My Asus g51j sucks down a lot of juice and already fried another replacement adapter from a different manufacturer. The power tip does not fit into the laptop as tight as the original but it is a right angle tip to minimize the chances of bending tip or damaging plugin by accident. If product had a power indicator light I would have given it 5 stars. Also seems a little pricey compared to other power adapters found on Amazon, but since I already tried a cheaper product that failed after 10 min. of use I wanted to see what the difference was between cheaper ones and this one. Since this model is still working after a month I guess the extra money was justified.
