Watch your volume knob...

Its amazing how slim this sub is, even more impressive is the output. I was going to go with the 12" but i changed my mind at the last minute, good thing i did, I dont even want to know what will be coming out of that 12". I'm the kind of person that likes to minimize space, if you want to save some space in the trunk of your car, you might want to consider this, you wont even see this sub when i open my trunk, you'd have to bend down to see where its hidden right besides the amp powering it, didnt even cover the trunk door that leads to the back seat from the trunk, thats how much space this thing saved me. Yet it came with the bang. Metal plate with great rubber at the rims, i dont see this breaking for any reason. Suddenly i'm rediscovering music i've had for years.

I'm running a 1000 watt amp at 4 ohms.I was using that with a alpine R 12" sub in a ported box, and as expected was phenomenal, and huge .I then traded my car for a truck and had to get a slim sub to fit under the back seats.This sub - is ridiculous - I dont know how they did it. this thing sounds just as good as the 12" full size.. and takes up only 20% of the space. I was speachless.I stuffed the box with polyfill to help it out and I couldn't be happier. granted it doesnt have the sonic boom of the 12, but the overall audio quality of almost all the low range is there.

Alpine thin type r is amazing.

I got a SWR-T10 as a steal locally. I put it in an old 10" slim box that i had laying around with a really old rockford amp thats rated for 550 watts but really only puts out 300 peak (i measured it). This thing still POUNDS. No one believes me that its only 1 10" sub, never mind a slim sub. I 100% recommend it.

Well worth it!

While it took a little longer to get here due to the size of the mailboxes in my building delaying it for a day or two, this figure MORE than made the wait worth it. Supremely articulate and very well detailed, Emperor Kiva looks like he's ready to fight straight from the box, and that's more than likely by design. (Given the box was a bit beat up at one of the corners, maybe he was trying to get out ahead of time? ^.~)S.H. Figuarts certainly knows how to sculpt a figure! While the cape being a permanent fixture (and having two extensions besides) is a bit of a drawback, the figure is still poseable and easy to play around with. The detail on even the accessories (largely extra sets of hands, though the Zanvat sword is also present, and the figure can hold the thing in its hands neatly, a very nice touch in my opinion) makes the figure something I would recommend to others. Get this figure when and if you can. I plan to get other Rider figures in the future, just to have something to pose in a fight scene with, if nothing else!

Excellent quality but only 2 4 ga ports in distribution block

JL generally makes outstanding subwoofers and amps to push them. While traditional systems usually only required two amps, the trend to OEM or aftermarket 5 channels (or more) now require more than just a 4 channel and 1 mono amp. Yes, it is true you can buy five channel amps, but I have seen numerous complaints regarding them. Thus, the inclusion of only 2 ports for distributing 4 ga. power is why I gave the product 4 instead of five stars. Another distribution block of the same quality can run you an additional $30 or more. True AWG wire. Durable fuse holders. However, the distribution block does not come with Maxi fuses (amps vary in requirements so not JL's bad). Check your amp manual to see what size Maxi fuses you need and order them with the product. Maxi fuses are not the little ones you often find in your fuse box. If you can't find Maxi fuses online, you can often find them at auto parts stores like AutoZone for less than $5. At the retail $250, I would not recommend this product. However, at Amazon's price, this is a great buy. Thanks again Amazon.

Great kit, all the parts needed to install 2 amps. JL makes a great product. Love the fact you can adjust the master fuse holder to give that OE look.
