Its amazing how slim this sub is, even more impressive is the output. I was going to go with the 12" but i changed my mind at the last minute, good thing i did, I dont even want to know what will be coming out of that 12". I'm the kind of person that likes to minimize space, if you want to save some space in the trunk of your car, you might want to consider this, you wont even see this sub when i open my trunk, you'd have to bend down to see where its hidden right besides the amp powering it, didnt even cover the trunk door that leads to the back seat from the trunk, thats how much space this thing saved me. Yet it came with the bang. Metal plate with great rubber at the rims, i dont see this breaking for any reason. Suddenly i'm rediscovering music i've had for years.

I'm running a 1000 watt amp at 4 ohms.I was using that with a alpine R 12" sub in a ported box, and as expected was phenomenal, and huge .I then traded my car for a truck and had to get a slim sub to fit under the back seats.This sub - is ridiculous - I dont know how they did it. this thing sounds just as good as the 12" full size.. and takes up only 20% of the space. I was speachless.I stuffed the box with polyfill to help it out and I couldn't be happier. granted it doesnt have the sonic boom of the 12, but the overall audio quality of almost all the low range is there.

I got a SWR-T10 as a steal locally. I put it in an old 10" slim box that i had laying around with a really old rockford amp thats rated for 550 watts but really only puts out 300 peak (i measured it). This thing still POUNDS. No one believes me that its only 1 10" sub, never mind a slim sub. I 100% recommend it.
