The GSI Rate monitor watch arrived a day earlier than promised ( a very good start). For the price of the product it is an excellent value. The product performs as advertised and meets my expectations. I simply wanted an easy to use heart rate monitor for use in and outdoors and it does just that. For a no frills heart rate monitor, this is an excellent value for the price.

This is just what I was looking for and the price could not be beat. I have owned expensive Polar and Timex HRM's and found that I only used one function...the heart rate monitor. So, I paid dearly for all the gadgets that I did not use in the past. This monitor is just fine. It may not be the same quality as the expensive brands, but for measuring heart rate, it is perfect!

My workout partner purchased the GSI heart rate monitor watch and allowed me to try it out last week. I was impressed with the many features that were included, and the inexpensive price of the system. The transmitting chest belt and wristwatch are both comfortable wearing, and simply programmed, though it was nice having a friend walk me through it. After first hand use I decided to purchase this system for myself, think it is an excellent value, great product!
